Test of Wit - Dusk - 2009-09-14 I'm referring to the room in CWKPQ with the Blood Stirges (sorry if that's not the right name). I know it's not that hard to climb up there and completely ignore the switches, but has anyone actually figured out how to do that stage? There has to be a way to flip all the switches and flames off. Test of Wit - Cyanne - 2009-09-14 I was under the impression that the point was so that the blue notices spammed up your chat enough to disrupt communication. The only way I know to start turning them off is just to activate sigils. That stage is completely dumb if you ask me. Test of Wit - Dusk - 2009-09-14 Well, I know it's the platforms at the bottom below the flames that act as switches, I just have no idea how they work. Test of Wit - Cyanne - 2009-09-14 Oh, it's the platforms at the bottom that affect the flames and stirges? Never knew that o_o Still seems not worth the effort though seeing as how the flames and stirges barely do anything. I guess it's understandable though for Nexon to think this is witty since the GM testers probably couldn't make the jumps with the obstacles up. Test of Wit - KajitiSouls - 2009-09-14 There are 8 platforms below all the stirges/flames and whatnot that have nothing on them. Standing on one of them turns the "switch" off, no matter how many people are standing on it. I'm not sure if the distribution is the same every time, but I'm guessing that's not true. Supposedly the idea is to find the right combination of switches to get rid of the stirges and to make a clear path to wherever you need to go. Seems like a time waster to me unless Nexon wants to fix the fire. Test of Wit - Stereo - 2009-09-15 You can just stand a person all of them to turn everything off, it's not like one is "turn A on, turn B off" or anything. When you step on it, it sends the "turned off" message, when it's clear the "turned on" message appears. I believe there are 8 different sections. |
