Sparks - kranten - 2009-09-13 how does the skill (sparks, thunder breaker) work? The description is really confusing :f6: Anyone got a video? Sparks - Cyanne - 2009-09-13 If you're using a multiple-target attack, it only works on the first monster you hit. It also works with the powerguard effect of energy charge. On that monster, it checks if there is a monster in range for sparks, and if there is, that monster gets damaged. The process then repeats for the sparked monster, and then one more time if you have 11+ sparks. Sparks isn't affected by mastery but is affected by critical. Sparks - Grey - 2009-09-13 It's kinda like chain lightning, your first attack will have lightning extending from it to the next monster, which will then have lightning extending to the next, etc, etc, for a max of 3 extra hits, 1 per monster, at max. From my experience, extra damage from sparks always hits before the rest of the skill, like with Sharkwave, your first monster will get hit and spark the next few monsters, and then the rest of sharkwave will hit them.
A couple pictures of sparks
Sparks - Marksman Bryan - 2009-09-13 Soo it's kinda like chain lightning? o.o EDIT : iAmFear Wrote:It's kinda like chain lightningoops. Sparks - bio9205 - 2009-09-16 Wait, wait. So it links up monsters for your next attack? Sparks - CarrionCrow - 2009-09-16 bio9205 Wrote:Wait, wait. So it links up monsters for your next attack? You hit monster A with say barrage (works with any attack skill). Sparks activate if monster B is close enough to monster A and an electric "string" will travel from monster A to monster B. If monster C is close enough to monster B another string of sparks will travel to that. Same goes from monster C to D. Basically sparks will, at max, hit 3 monsters that is close enough to the original target and do a few thousand damage. The beatty of it is by far the aspect of getting as many monsters as possible to come within range. Typhons in CWK is without competition the map where you get the most use out of it paired with Shark wave. At maps like skeles it's mostly a tiny bit of a damage boost. My breaker lurved typhons for many lvls. Skeles was less fun even though it's faster for the last levels. |
