No one knows when the world will end. It could end right now, so just live a GOOD life and stop worrying. Only God (if you believe in him) knows when he'll come, if your scared to die than you know you haven't lived a good life. I, myself am not scared to die.

Edit: on a deeper note.... Satan could always win ya know? even if you were to burn for a long time... there is always the chance that god would forgive you... or the chance that Satan claims the universe to himself... In which then he might be able to set you to roam free as his minion.

God GAVE you a chance to be good, you HAD the chance to repent. In the bible it says when the Earth is destroyed and all of Gods people are with him, he will forever forget those in hell.

the story behind 2012 is that according to the mayan calander, that day falls on two overlapping days, one where it is predicted to be a day of catastrophic change, and the end of the 5th major block and the restarting of said block from block 1. those two factors make the dramatics assume and spread hysteria that it will be the end of the world. no, it might not be. sure the poles might shift, and a massive chain of natural disasters could occur...
all in all, we'll just have to wait and see.

I recommend that you watch the Bullshit episode in which they look at the apocalypse of 2012. There's nothing in the Mayan lore or beliefs stating that the world will end in 2012; it's a massive misinterpretation that gets perpetuated by various medias, from movies to video games (like Assassin's Creed, for example)

^ So true. Just because they stopped making the calender doesn't mean the world will end on the day they stopped. They could've stopped writting the calender in 1994, but they didn't and we don't know why. It's jsut the assumption they came too. Let's throw the world into a frienzy (lolspelling) and see what happens.
