As to your question, it comes down to control. FA is a free attack, but it messes up the damage by spreading it out using Slash Blast, and it also makes it so you randomly can't move 60% of the time after an attack.
That being said, I enjoyed FA. It's a nice way to use less MP. Then again, I do have lvl 13 Slash Blast, so it didn't really matter to me how low the damage was with the spread. If you're gonna use Power Strike more often, like I did, then its probably gonna be more beneficial. It also can be helpful and hurtful at leeching bosses like BF. When FA activates, the range on the attack goes up by around 1.5x, allowing you to clip a boss further away from you. Unfortunately it's a double-edged sword, since you could have it activate when you're up close and BF will run you over.
Though be warned. FA is an all or nothing skill. If you choose the path, you must follow it.[/COLOR]

Rush and CB was fun, Blast was pretty. Hammer's neat, although I didn't use it much. Wasn't apparent at the time, but I like that I could actually tank hits. Dual parties were sweet.
I liked FA because it added speed to attacks, and even if SB damage went to crap, I didn't care. Actually found it quite funny to see 2 digit numbers pop up.

I recently abandoned my Level 100 priest after a long-term hate relationship with it. (seriously, it is a miracle I trained it) and now I am on the Path of Page.
I need to know if the following build is good and also where should I train for pretty much any level past 30 (which is what I am now). Preferably solo training.
(The number is the SP Level I bring the skill up to, not the amount I add)

HH after ACB is becoming an increasingly popular build -- personally i wouldn't set anything in stone now, but rather learn from your experiences and how you prefer to play and base your build off that
But I defo agree with the uselessness of shield mastery -- unless you intend on using a high lvl warrior shield -- but then youd most likely be scrolling yourself and looking at a much lower resale value
