Tables cause firefox to freeze. - Taiketo - 2009-08-17

If I open a thread on SP with a large table, firefox will freeze. After about a minute if it's still frozen I'll kill it with task manager....

Last time I looked at the RAM it was using, it was approaching 2GB, with nothing other then SP open...

Thoughts?

Could you link to a thread that does that? And what version are you using?

Im on 3.5 works for me.

Works on 3.5.2 for me. :-\ Only thing I can think of is to try disabling all extensions and javascript and see if that helps. Oh, and try upgrading to 3.5.2 if you're using 3.5.0 or 3.5.1.

Also works for me with 3.5 in hand.

Using 3.5.2.

Also on W7, though. Might be causing the issue.

They don't always freeze up, though. Or at least not for more then 5 or 10 seconds. Just sometimes.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2

No problems for me.
