Hi guys,
Today I got my 4th Chief Qualm Guardian card and here's the droplist:

Apparently the Piece of Time is not included in there. The question arises, either:
- Do Chief Qualm Guardians drop Time Pieces? or
- Is Piece of Time not listed in any Monster Book droplist?
It would be best to have another mob that you can confirm to drop Time Piece with a droplist ss showing no Time Piece. Please also be careful with your confirmation since I've got one like this:

Thank you for your time and attention, I'm just afraid of spending hours on end for nothing. I totally understand that Time Pieces are rare, but something like this can put me quite to quite a confusion.

None of the monster books pages show pieces of time from any time temple monster. They also don't show any monster drops powders, does that mean powders don't drop?

I did that much reasoning, but to me, speculation is merely speculation.
Anyway, I just found a piece from the guardians themselves after their 6th card, thanks for your help. ^^

They removed from drops since Maker was not implemented.
Apparently,they forgot to add them in Monster Book.
MapleSonar image: look at the jms monster book,it shows it as a drop,every monster in TT drops it.

All monsters the mobs in TT (except maybe the bosses, not sure on them) drop Time Pieces.

Yes, ALL monsters in Time Temple drop them. Dodo, Lilynouch and Lyka actually have higher rates for dropping Time Ore. I hunted over half of mine solely from Dodo.

Out of curiosity, how annoying are the guardian/chiefs for a ranged character? I can't sustain training on them even with Ice unless I find good drops + sell them, cause their KB hitbox touches me too much. So far Oblivion Monks gave me the best exp/hr vs. meso burned cost, Qualm Chiefs had more potential but unworkable cost (I'm kinda broke at the mo)

How do you burn so much even with ACB? I pretty much break even on Oblivion 4 on Oblivion Guardians/Chiefs (~200 Honsters an hour), and that doesn't include any drops I obtain or monster crystals that I synthesize. :f6:

300 ginseng/hr is about the same as your honster use, I guess I'm not killing as many though cause I only come up with about 500-600k. I didn't stick around after I finished the quests so I can't be more accurate really.
The root problem withACB is that it's strong enough to KB, but short ranged enough that when I kb them, they touch me. Disabling magic with ice/stun doesn't help if that's not what costs me so much (I gotta say though, Guardians have the most annoying magic. Chiefs were far easier to avoid with Rush, and I think at level 131 I may be able to do Chief Oblivions without losing as much money if I don't run into lyka).

Not too annoying, really only when I jump down and try to DB with guardians barely in its range, and MB activates a little bit more than I'd like. It's still not really an issue though, and as for your potion costs, wouldn't a single time piece cover like well over 4 hours of training?

They're not a problem at all; I didn't even know about the hitbox issue until I read your thread. I get my pieces at Oblivion 2 only because I can't 3hko Guards that often. Corsairs don't do a lot of shooting monsters at point blank while they're turned around.

Warriors kill stuffs brute and simple, at a high speed, pot burn is just the cost of it. Plus, one piece of time should cover at least 4hrs of training need, and I remember I was getting more than 1 piece per hr.

As everyone else has said, Pieces of Time aren't included in the drop list for w/e reason. Also, an NL friend of mine found a Piece of Time from Regrets 5 after a VERY long time. He's even found 9 cards there.
All my bl and friends are getting jeluz at my Pieces collection because I train at Oblivion 4 xD I swear, great place for grinding.
