This may be a really nooby question, but I need clarification. So if you have a character over level 20 to create a cygnus, what happens to it? Does it get deleted or does it act as the parent?

With the Cygnus Creation System that we have now, it just acts as a parent. You will not lose this character.

You and MSEA got the old method where your highest level is the parent which gives his/her BotS to your Cygnus..
The method JMS/KMS has, is that your Highest Level gives BotS to all your characters in your account while your second highest level character gives its BotS to your highest level character.
