Back to the Future III (spoilers, don't read if you haven't seen it.) - Derimed - 2009-07-27 The plot of Back to the Future III is, Marty goes back to Wild West to save Doc Brown from being shot. Doc Brown leaves the time machine in the abandoned mine for Marty to find in his parents' time. Marty takes the machine back to the Wild West, punctures the gas tank, and Doc and Marty must get the car to 88 mph before the shooting. They can't drive the car cause it has no gas. Thing is, Doc Brown buried the car in the mine. THAT car has gas. So instead of doing all this crap with horses and the train, why not dig up the car from the mine, take ITS gas, put it in the car missing the gas, and then get out? In 1955 there's plenty of gas stations, and the whole effort would have taken two nights at most. I know I am being evil and dissecting the plot, but I found the inconstitency lulzy. Back to the Future III (spoilers, don't read if you haven't seen it.) - Dusk - 2009-07-27 Because attaching your car to a train is so much more badass. |
