So I'm curious to how this works. I haven't played seriously until .62 and then stopped for a while, now to come back with all these crazy features.

How does the MTS work exactly and what can I get out of it? Just money or can I get actual NX? I'm not gonna buy NX so if I can trade for it, that's just as well.

I'm just generally confused at how the entire process works, so a good explanation is needed.

There a guide on the 5th tab in there if I remember correctly.

There is, but its not comprehensive. That's why I asked for a detailed guide.

The MTS system is a trade system between mesos and NX cash. You cant get cash out of it, only NX. You can sell something (you pay a small luisting fee in mesos) and someone else buys it for NX. You get the NX (after taxes are taken out) and they get the item. if you want to list a wanted item, you put the price in NX you are willing to pay, and the seller supplies the item and gets the NX you said you would pay for it.

Err... Perhaps you could indicate what exactly you don't understand, then. That might allow us to help more. ^_^

Fair enough. If I were to put something up to sell, a little pop-up shows up. Now it autofills the list fee, which is 5000. I'm guessing that is money? And then it has you fill in List Price, which I'm guessing is the amount of NX I want for it.

If this is the case, then I think I get it. It is inter-server or over the whole shebang of all?

The fee is is mesos, the amount is the NX you want (and the total price is what they pay with taxes). MTS is inter-server (except for the newest server).

Hey, this isn't extremely on-topic, but what's the best way to transfer stuff with the MTS? Could I put up a wanted auction for that item offering some puny amount of money (like 1 NX) then accept that auction on my other account? Would this work with anything that isn't clean and average?

I figured making a new thread would be a little redundant.

Mts - Stereo - 2009-07-25

The least you can offer in "wanted" is 110 NX, of which 101 is removed as tax and the remaining 9 goes to the seller. I'm not sure if you can get auctions lower.

Mts - EmuAlert - 2009-07-25

Still, though, would it work without any risk? I don't care if I have to spend a paltry 1k NX.

Mts - Stereo - 2009-07-25

No risk of doing it in Wanted (list the item type you're transfering, for 110 nx, go to the account that has the item and offer to sell it, go to the first account, and accept the offer. Pay 110 nx and it's yours. All someone else can do is offer to sell you their item), and in Auctions if you leave the Buy it Now price high I guess it's safe too.

Thanks for the tips, I just transferred a bunch of stuff for very cheap. However, one of my equips can't be listed for wanted. So I put up an auction for it with a low starting bid and bid on it, but I can't accept the bid OR pull the bid off the MTS now that it has a bid on it. Do I just have to let it run out and keep bidding more (eventually up to a realistic amount of NX) or is there some way to save a few bucks and my equip?

If I may induldge myself again, is there an easy way to get NX? Like something people always trade for fast and cheap thats good to get? My Hermit on Bera is 81 and can go anywhere practically. He's got a ton of Extra HP, so he can look for things.

the problem is if we told you what it was everyone would see it and it wouldn't be a good thing to sell any more Sad

The same problem exists. You tell a friend and then they tell two friends, etc. It's very selfish to keep information to ourselves like this but the benefit we get out of it doesn't last long because the moment they see something selling well they either completely over-do it themselves, or tell everyone they know and deflate the item(s) like crazy.

Bah. I suppose you're right to an extent, but then again, all things will deflate over time rapidly as buying power goes up. So wouldn't it be more worth it to sell your secret to an extent and take advantage of the current market pluses?

I would suggest simply watching the MTS. That's how we learn, and the only real way you can learnUH!

Would be useful if the Deme MTS was functioning, since I spend the largest majority of my time there. However it isn't. Hense my curiosity.

With the Maker junk now, I'm sure they'll be plenty of oppritunities now. So its really irrelevent.
