The only slot-related foolery in other versions is random # of slots on Gacha items (+-2)
Not that a 9 slot 5 atk Pink Gaia cape wouldnt be nice... but I hope we don't get it.

Actually, well at least in eMS, items can have +2 slots from gacha. And only +2. Not +1, not -1/-2. Just +2.
It didn't ruined eMS, to be honest. The normal-slotted equips stayed roughly the same price. but these with the extra slots were the same as aforementioned item with some scrolls on it. Eg, my Guan Yu has 84 ATK, 0 slots, but an average clean one, with 9 slots, costs the same.

lolNo... JMS doesn't even have the items that come from Gachapon that have 2 extra slots. I'm glad that we don't have them...

I kinda like the gach slots idea. It isn't 100% guaranteed like this hammer, and you can't use it in the hypothetical sense on the HT pendant to make a 3 egged, 2slot pendant.
Not to mention you get mad people with NX when they get a 9 slot level 30 weapon
