Well, i'm at a breaking point. Friends are quitting, and it just seems there isn't anything left to do in maplestory, so I think I just need a fresh start. The issue is, what class, and what the hell am I going to do besides for training.

Getting to the class thing, base minimum is something that can boss. And not just some, every boss. Also, it needs to not be using the same skill every...single...time.

And getting on to the goals and fun things to do, what are some constructive goals? I know monster book, and questing, and things along that. But another thing I was thinking of doing was collecting sets of tubes, snow/surfboards, umbrellas, itcg/masteria equips, those japanese equips ( the ones that originated from JMS and only drop from zipangu mobs, ex: Plastic Bottle) Is something like that even feasible? And what other goals are there to do in maple?

I just needed to really rethink and plan things to do.

Buccaneer.

You're welcome.

Brawlers seem like the only class that fits your criteria

Yeah, all the other decent bossing classes have a very prominent main attack skill, at least for bossing. BMs: Hurricane, NLs: TT, Heroes: Brandish, DrKs: Crusher, Corsairs: Cannon, etc...

You could make a MM and sprinkle in some Snipe with your Strafe. Glitter

You can make a Brawler or a Shadower either one is fun and entertaining.
As for goals.. maybe hit 130(?) and make new friends(?) other than that theres no point in playing maple

Quests are always a good goal, as is making a "unique" character, such as a LUK/STR warrior (more avoid, slightly less acc).

Buccaneer or Corsair.

This is just from my own personal experiences, by the way, but back when I played a Pole Arm Dragon Knight, I thought I'd stick with that forever. I quit that class around 10x for Rogue, which in turn now became a lv 133 Night Lord. I loved my NL since. I've only had to change class once throughout the entire game. I know people who changes class way too much and ends up getting even more bored as the game progresses, since they don't advance any further than.. let's say lv 60 per character, since they keep switching around with classes.

I get that for some people, that might work. But not for everyone, sometimes doing that a bit too much just makes you more infuriated with the game's class-system and gets you even more bored than you already are. I hope you find a class suitable to your tastes and best of luck to you.

And don't quit, just don't!

I plan to keep sstaying in atleast the Top 100 Night Walkers too.
