Bob the Snail Quest still bugged - Firehuntah - 2009-06-24

Issue/Problem/Bug: Bob the Snail Quest still not completely fixed.

Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!:
Nexon tried to fix it, but of course they failed again.
There's some new quest script added to Jay now, but when you click Next or on the text itself, it closes and nothing happens. Because of this, the quest still can't be finished.
And yes, I do have Bob the Snail's Shell in my ETC.

I dont get whats taking so long either, its at the final part of the quest, so it should be pretty simple to fix it. And i know in the end, im gonna be getting some pomergranet reward for waiting so long.

No, it's still at the same step actually lol. But yeah, I'm looking forward to finishing this quest before the end of 2010 somewhere.

I don't get why these kind of bugs even exist. If Nexon would have just tried to do the quest even 1 time while testing the patch, they would have found out it was still bugged.

I dont know if this was intended or not, but I remember back when the quest was first released there was a spawn timer for bob like the bosses had. But now he spawns just like a normal monster. I think I saw about 5-7 of them hopping around when I entered the map. He is a good way to get snail cards. >_>'

Just to add another thing to this.

I don't know if anyone noticed, but in my opinion by fixing Bob's spawn again Nexon completely screwed up their quest.

That's 3 Bob's right there, and there were at least 3-4 more in the map. They also spawn like any other monster now, so not every hour or something like that.

Now in the quest, they all say it's some legendary snail and stuff. But Nexon kind of made it a normal monster that's very easy to be found, pretty much making the actual story of the quest wrong. >_>

Not to mention that there's less spawn of Wild Kargo's and Red Drakes in Drakes Meal Table now thanks to this. Only good thing is that you can now easily get Snail cards for Monster Book. ;x

It's nice they got him to spawn again, but they should have made it like it was before, only 1 Bob in the map, with a bigger spawntime. This is just.. stupid.

As a Brawler myself, I somehow accepted the same quest twice, and actually completed one of them. But the other one is still glitched.

I finished that quest on my Corsair, also the continued quest. So it seems fine to me. :p Haven't had any problems with any of the Masteria quests.

You can do Masteria quests yeah. But Bob the Snail Quest is still bugged at the last part. You can't finish it, but you can complete 4-5 parts of it or something like that.

Neither I nor my corsair friends have been able to finish the 'Cleaning Up the Streets' quest. Believe me, I tried every day when I was a couple of quests away from my medal.

Perhaps I should try to forfeit and redo it...

Oh yeah, FireHuntah and Blup, when did you finish said quest (or rather, what version/how many patches ago)?
