HT + Vista - KajitiSouls - 2009-06-22
So in the previous weekend, I attended my first HT run. It was mostly a pilot test for my Vista laptop to see how horrendous the l4g will be, although it was a shame the group didn't have the right people and we bailed before the main event.
But from what I've seen so far, the two preliminary heads, there's something really strange going on. When the heads are alive, the keyboard acts ... well, I dunno how to describe it... stuck? For example, I hold down the Blast key, and my character will do something along the lines of "attack attack attack ... attack . attack ...... attack attack ....". Furthermore, I have to hammer on the pot keys to get them to work, and I can't move or click on anything on the Inventory window (no it's not the mouse glitch). When the heads are dead, everything becomes fine again.
A fellow Paladin also had Vista, and he reported having the same problems. Anyone else have this issue, and is there something unexpected I should anticipate during the main battle? A solution to these problems would be nice, although I dunno if it can be fixed, short of getting a new OS/computer xD
EDIT: Oh yeah, I should mention that chatting was completely unaffected. Only skills and pots acted stupid.

Interesting. I went and harrassed HT with 5 other people last night, and I was getting exactly that. I was on a hero, and using vista. Even after all the others were dead, it was still happening.

Well I went to the preliminary head after helping someone get their item for gen. It felt really slow. Like you said my potting seemed to take forever before it showed and attacks felt like I didnt have booster on which I did. I was told that, thats how it is. I use XP pro.
