DPS of Buchaneer vs. Night Lord - misc86 - 2009-06-15 So I am wondering, for the buc class vs. the NL class, which class has better DPS? I heard that buchs have been pretty solid at bosses. Also,. is it preferable to go "statless" with the the buch class? Or does the dmg not vary as much compared to full stat as compared to their NL counterpart (dexless)? Thanks in advance! DPS of Buchaneer vs. Night Lord - Dusk - 2009-06-15 Buccs are a light melee class like Shadowers. Their 1v1 damage is lower than any ranged or warrior class. They're pretty powerful mobbers though. DPS of Buchaneer vs. Night Lord - modular - 2009-06-15 http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=7019 dexless bucs arent too hard because they only need ~80-100 dex from equips. DPS of Buchaneer vs. Night Lord - Greg22 - 2009-06-15 Is this thread a joke? NLs have the most broken range in the game, not to mention, Buccs can't hit criticals at bosses unless they've got SE at their disposal (And I'm assuming you're talking about soloing, since Night Lords get a ridiculous boost from SE as well). The majority of Buccs are statless, so yeah, I guess it's "preffered", but it's not exactly cheap. If you're trying to choose whether to make a Bucc or a Night Lord, make a Bucc and, once we get Cynguses, make a Night Walker. Buccs are just as much a bossing class as Night Lords are, and trust me, you'll enjoy bossing on it a hell of a lot more. DPS of Buchaneer vs. Night Lord - Link - 2009-06-15 Ok, I'll bite. What's a 'Buchaneer?' New class? I want to try it out. D: |
