A Service For All Of Mardia - Conciente - 2009-06-14

Hello, fellow Mardians.

It has come to the attention of the high level legitimate community that boss monsters, which were once killed for fun, have become objectified and are now being treated as items. This has been going on for some time, but it has reached an extreme that can no longer be ignored. We have gathered a small, but strong group that has dedicated itself to standing up and saying that bosses are for everyone, and that they cannot be purchased. Those that have copious amounts of meso have no right to simply sit there and leech while a hard working Mardian that has earned his place is forced out.

Enough with the explanation of current affairs, here is the point. We need names. Hackers, leechers, botters, or enablers of any of the above, those will do.

Please PM us those names.

We advise not to post them publicly in this thread as we are not sure if that would be against the rules of these forums. You can also contact any of the following people in game:

I’m sure that there are many of you (with little actual experience in the game) that are asking yourselves if this activity is against the rules. No, it is not, bosses are a separate entity from the rule that you are thinking of and are treated differently than monsters that are trained on. GMs have held many events where bosses were summoned and there was never any issue over one person attacking a boss that someone else was killing. The people that run this game enjoy seeing people work together to kill bosses. If you ever get upset over people "taking your bosses" you need to relax a bit and accept that there are aspects of this game that are truly free for all. You can’t buy your way through the entire thing.

Those of you that wish to work against us are welcome to. The reality is though, by "working against us", you will most likely only be helping us bring back the competitive environment that we desire. But go ahead, please try your hardest.

Those of you that wish to join us are just as welcome. But keep in mind that only the best of the best will be accepted (no leechers/hackers/botters obviously). We don’t want our message or our beliefs to be corrupted. Apply in this format:

You may provide the (stupid) excuse of "omg he had nothing to lose so its okay!!" but the fact is this is still some hacker (be it ex- or not) hypocritically killing leechers (which, by the way, is a completely legal part of the game) to RAGE AGAINST THE SYSTEM and BE A VIGILANTE! Seriously. While you may honestly believe you're doing your server a favor and/or exacting e-justice (lol), in actuality, your killing of their characters is doing nothing but making them lose a small fraction of experience. They're free to return to said bosses whenever they please.

MapleStory is a game where people tend to act on seemingly selfish reasons. Hell, why don't you follow those merchants who've inflated the prices of certain items? They gain through exclusion, very much like those players who train via bosses.

I hate leechers as well, but all you guys are doing is being complete jerks. Killing someone off just ticks them off, it's not going to stop them. All you are doing is proving that you can be as bad as the people selling leech. Congratulations for that.

In regards to hackers, odds are you wouldn't be able to kill them either. So, in essence, you would be killing people who are in Nexon's eyes, legitimate players of this game. I don't believe in vigilante justice and I don't think this forum appreciates it. I hope this backfires and gets you banned for harrassment, because that's what you are doing.

  1. This is a forum.
  2. It positively impacts and contributes to the server.
  3. It's cheaper than smegas.

It is very beneficial to Mardia and if you don't understand, you should make a character here because it is very obvious to those of us that play here.
