Maker skill question - Kigaz - 2009-06-02 Hello~ I have a question about the Maker skill. I read Isaac's thread and eos367's thread and I still dont know. Anyway, what are plates for? Such as steel plates and adamantium plates. I bought adamantium plates/ores thinking I could turn them into powders (this was before I read the threads ) but I'm wrong. Anyway Isaac said this: IsaacGS Wrote:In some cases, such as for weapons, it uses items which we already have, like metal plates. Steel is particularly common for high level weapons (Steel plates go for as much as 4.5mil in KMS culverin right now. It's insanity)I read this and thought my Adamantium plates would go to good use but then I look at eos367's tables for Pirate knuckles and low-and-behold, I didn't find a column for plates. ![]() So, my question is, how exactly are plates used with maker skill and are my 57 Adamantium plates useless ? Maker skill question - Cyanne - 2009-06-02 All weapons require plates to make. 50 requires bronze, 60/70 require steel, 80/90 require mithril, 100/110 require adamantium, and 120 require orihalcon. Maker skill question - Flaxative - 2009-06-02 ...I'm gonna love maker. I have 150 steel plates in reserve. (It's mine! All mine! Muahahaha!) Damn, just the answer I was looking for uhm How many of each :O? i.e I want to make a lvl 100 knuckle (king cent) do I need to use the same amount of powders to make it (which would be 4) (i.e. 4 adamantium powders and 4 plates to make a king cent)? Eos's thread has the recipes. Maker skill question - Kigaz - 2009-06-02 MasPan Wrote:Powders are colored dust that drop from monsters at about the rate of ores. We don't have them yet. Sweet jeebus I didn't know even the metal ores will be needed for Maker. Now I wish I had made more plates and jewels instead of selling them off for a measly 1-2k per ore. ./rage Maker skill question - KajitiSouls - 2009-06-02 Kigaz Wrote:I read this and thought my Adamantium plates would go to good use but then I look at eos367's tables for Pirate knuckles and low-and-behold, I didn't find a column for plates. Actually in eos367's thread, the Powder column is also the Plate column. It's just that both are never found in the same recipe. And yes, I do blame him/her and the mighty display of the ego for not adapting public information resources to encompassing the more ignorant. Generally speaking, Adamantium plates are used for the highest lvl weapons, while Mithril is for lvl 70-90 range, Steel being 50-70, and Bronze being for lvl 50 and lower. And apparently according to Cyanne, Orihalcon for lvl 120+ weapons. Oh alright I see. So I need 4 plates for a King Cent >:3 Maker skill question - bored4ever86 - 2009-06-03 KajitiSouls Wrote:Generally speaking, Adamantium plates are used for the highest lvl weapons, while Mithril is for lvl 70-90 range, Steel being 50-70, and Bronze being for lvl 50 and lower.
