Brand New clueless DK - Reflexx - 2009-05-31 Hey guys, im currently playig a lvl 71 outlaw, but i want to create a DragonKnight. But i have no idea how, like seriously no clue at all. ALl i know is that STR is my main and Dex is secondary, can anyone tell me how to start off my DK, AP + SP wise and yeah 8) Brand New clueless DK - Mark - 2009-05-31 Common sense. Max out Max HP Increase first. Then work on Slashblast/Power Strike. Then do whatever you want for first job. Second job you'll want to get some accuracy so start filling in points for Mastery. Get at least 6 booster, then max out Hyperbody. Get FA if you want. (Most DKs don't) I'm not too informed on 3rd job, so good luck. Brand New clueless DK - Dyxanije - 2009-05-31 Check these out: http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3142 http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3155 It would also be helpful to tell us more information, such as funding. Brand New clueless DK - KajitiSouls - 2009-05-31 The only purpose of DEX for any warrior is to have enough accuracy to hit things. DEX = .8 accuracy, LUK = .5 accuracy. DEX is also used to satisfy requirements for equipment, but I don't suggest you fulfill those. Brand New clueless DK - WhiteKnight - 2009-05-31 And just remember that warriors don't cap dex, we cap accuracy so dont work on getting your dex very high, just get 139(?) accuracy and you will be able to hit everything Brand New clueless DK - KajitiSouls - 2009-05-31 WhiteKnight Wrote:And just remember that warriors don't cap dex, we cap accuracy so dont work on getting your dex very high, just get 139(?) accuracy and you will be able to hit everything Anything that has 38 avoid tops. And provided you're at the monster's level or higher xD Brand New clueless DK - BTMachinez - 2009-06-04 WhiteKnight Wrote:And just remember that warriors don't cap dex, we cap accuracy so dont work on getting your dex very high, just get 139(?) accuracy and you will be able to hit everything horntail's mid head was my goal at about 167 accuracy. But that's not till lvl 160 where you should have more funds to afford dex gears. Also Dark cornians need ~167 accuracy at lvl 105. Nowadays this isn't too hard to accomplish being dexless/lowdex. Just put enough (if any) dex into your character to be able to hit things you wanna hit. Zhelm works wonders for warriors and accuracy problems so just try and tough it out till lvl 50 and see where ur at. Otherwise just pump that STR. As far as builds go there are a few options to be considered during 2nd job. Pure Pole Arm...Pure Spear....Pure Hybrid or Hybrid 1.5. The guides linked in this thread should give you more information on that for you to pick what you find would be most fun for you and your story. Hope this helps! On a side note...anyone know Pink Bean's lvl and avoid or accuracy required to hit? You cap accuracy depending on where you train; You don't need 100+ accuracy until the 80s. DKs can stay at himes from 80 to 130 and you only need 125 to hit himes. Bookmark an accuracy calculator and determine how much accuracy you need for each training spot. Here's a good one. http://recanto.no.sapo.pt/acccalc.htm |
