Basically they send you an email saying they haven't seen you in a while, list the prizes(random pet, meso magent, item pouch, 2x card) and tell you about anniv. they give you a code and when you use it(much like itcg) you get the stuff. =D

EDIT: Apparently, you can use numerous codes on the same account cause i use the the codes from my mules' emails all on one account.
