They (HKMS and TWMS) merged, so it wasn't really considered a patch.
And I think that statement only applies to MSEA? As in our biggest patch thus far?

HongKongMS, and not really can be considered a patch.
It merged with TaiwanMS, which is one of the most up-to-date version.
Imagine, one of the newest MS which doesnt even have Leafre nor 4th Job merges with one of the most advanced MS version, of course the "patch" would be big.

I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about another patch where TWMS added a bunch of stuff, this happened before the merge.
And I'm pretty sure an out of date server like BMS added a ton of stuff like 4th job, horn tail, along with other stuff.

Not using a fantranslation =/= Renaming, ever tried translating from one language to another? Particularlly ones that use a different alphabet, it's not as easily definable as some people think.

They weren't fan translations. If you ever have seen screen shots of old PServers, the data contains the original names. Also, I can confirm that the JMS names are Gunslinger, Valkyrie, and Captain and Infighter, Buccaneer and Viper. GMS just ripped the data from Thailand MS who did their own 'translations' for their English server.
