MapleStory changes screen resolution when plugging my laptop in to charge. - Snipertech - 2009-04-25

Whenever I have MapleStory on and I plug in my laptop to charge, my laptop screen would black out for a second and then come back to normal but with a different screen resolution. It changes from 1600x900 to 800x600. This only happens when I'm in-game; it doesn't happen when I'm alt-tabbed. Maple itself doesn't look any different, but when I alt-tab, everything is far larger than it would be at normal screen resolution. It's not a big deal or anything, it's just annoying how I have to change the screen resolution back everytime this happens. If anyone knows how to keep this from happening, please help! Thanks. Smile

P.S: This also happens when I unplug the charger from my laptop while I'm on Maple.

That's a weird problem. I don't have a fix, but it reminds me of when I would plug in my charger and use Thunder Spear :p

Maybe it has something to do with the power something something.

Maybe this change comes from your laptop's power plan. You know, when you unplug your laptop, your screen dims, your processing power gets reduced, and you save energy for longer use before you have to replug. Now what's really strange is that you plug in your laptop, your resolution gets worse... so no idea if the laptop power plan thing is to blame or not o.O
