How does it make it useless? Obviously he shouldn't be standing that high so the foothold is screwed up.

There's one spot in Kerning City that's hidden from sight, but Green Eggy Pops spawned on it. So one day I was happily passing through one of the Construction Areas on the bottom of the map, when suddenly I got kicked from the behind for 1 damage. I was like "wth!?" So I decided to jump around the place where I got hit. It happened again. So I swung around my weapon, and apparently there was a huge swarm of Eggy Pops hidden behind a wall just below the steps. I was never able to stand on this mystery spot btw.

I'll post pics when I get home.

There's plenty of background objects you can stand on. I'm not sure why you can stand on the rims above the Ghost Ship entrance, or why everyone can walk tightropes, but there's plenty of stuff you can stand on nevertheless.

Personally, I like those kind of map objects. It makes the place seem more... Fun. Anyway, that's just me.

Going on-topic, I think he means invisible platforms that you can actually stand on. And not background objects.

There are quite a lot of messed up footholds in the game, like the screwed up platforms in Ellinia or the strange extra part below the right side of the left slope in El Nath. I also complain a lot about crimsonwood keep (outside) footholds, which stop you from jumping down a lot of the time, though I guess those technically aren't glitched.

What really annoys me about those footholds are the akward ones when drops get stuck on them, like with the poles at truckers D:

its probably because in the "map customizing" thing they either moved the footholds and forgot to move the images, or vice-versa.

Yup, they're not glitches. Probably an old platform they removed or an extra part they added in accidentally.
