So in the past we've seen a lot of welcome screens with hidden messages for future patches. (ariant palace, cube slime) but this time on the welcome screen there are two paintings on the last and right, one being an elderly asian, the other a muscular black man. What content are these NPCs from?

Guys, we're obviously getting Cygnus.
Blacksmith -> makes items -> there's an S in "Knights" -> the official title for "Cygnus" is -> "Knights of Cygnus".
To further support this evidence, please note that there are 10 letters in blacksmith, and 2 syllables. 10 divided by 2 is 5. 5 corresponds to the month of May, which is next month. The last patch we had was in April, so this is implying that the next patch is in May. Knights of Cygnus in May, guys.
