I don't believe so. I read somewhere you could buy another one from the Cash Shop, but I'm not 100% on that.

In kMS, once the snail dies, it's gone for good.
Not sure about gMS though, I have a feeling they'll release it as a cash shop pet for the big bucks, but if not, it should be exactly how it is in kMS.
