ef - a tale of memories (finished)
Wow, I've never seen such a cliched storyline that worked out so amazingly well. You have a love triangle for romance drama, multiple character breakdowns for character development, like 5 mentors to point lead characters in the right direction and about two million metaphorical devices. But what made the series great was the plot twists and how two storylines and six lead characters were all related to one another in their goals and dreams.
There's Miyako, the story's generic tsundere. Being all girly-girly made her annoying at first also gave her another layer to her character. Even her breakdown was unique - there were no tears, there was no screaming, there was no yelling, there were no things getting thrown in the air and broken.
There's Kei, the story's generic yandere. Overly caring of Hirono ultimately lead Hirono's story arc into it's climax and pushing her into a forced love triangle. Which worked out for the story otherwise Hirono's story arc would've gone on without drama and heartbreak. In addition, Hirono would've remained the same unchanged person he was had Kyosuke not seen Kei breakdown.
Chihiro - possibly the saddest character due to her condition next to Misuzu from Air and Nana from Elfen Lied. Using anterograde amnesia as a plot device is a pretty cliche but that was why Renji's arc was as dramatic as it was. Ultimately made Renji as the character who went through the most emotional pain (twice).
Overall, what made it awesome was the plot twists and unexpected decisions of the characters. Especially Chihiro's little notes she leaves for her future self. Just when you think they live happily ever after, the characters and circumstances takes a turn to make you rage. Emotional roller coaster.
Cool story, bro.

Arakawa under the bridge 2 - Seems like a pretty cool place to live. Lots of interesting characters. I'll see where this takes me. I can't help but feel some stuff is moving a bit fast, so I'll pick up the manga sometime to see if there are any skipped scenes between those chapters that give you a better feel for some events.

I swore I saw camel-toe, oh well. Funny episode, but a bit more sexual than the first. It's pretty funny though.

I was betting how far they would go with the Kiss X Sis anime. It has so far pretty much exceeded the rate i thought more sexual things would happen.
That said, i find it absolutely hilarious.

It's pretty hilarious. It's not to the point in which it's nipple-slips, or they overdid it and it contained so much erotic scenes that it had to be turned into Rated-Mature or whatever. It's just enough that it's hilarious and sexual at the same exact time. A lot of scenes in episode 2 made me burst out laughing, and I enjoyed this episode.

I agree completely, however that stuff could easily happen down the road. Concept like this literally doesn't have many places to go except sex eventually.

Ef - a tale of memories [episode 1]
I love the artwork in this anime, simply astounding. How the sky is drawn, how realistic it is when it moves, etc. I also must compliment on the music as well, it lured me in and I just had to watch and finish episode 1 and see what this anime was about. I like how it's so cute and realistic, and how it lured me in a little. What I didn't understand was, are there supposed to be '2' protagonists in this anime? There's 2 males. They look similar (maybe because of how the characters are drawn), but the hair gives it away really well. Then during this episode, scenes seems to flick back and forth a bit, so I was a bit confused. 8/10 Not bad, I enjoyed it. I think I'll continue watching it and see where this all goes. Some of the dialogue reminds me of the conversations in Kanon, it's so .. simple and innocent.
Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou [episode 3]
Keena is such a mysterious character, the end of this episode makes me wonder if she's one of those anime-chicks that pretends to be stupid and clumsy, but in actuality, a clever genius. Several scenes in this episode made me wonder a bit, and some scenes were of course, a bit erotic. A new enemy seems to have appeared, I can't wait to watch episode 4!!!

Angel Beats 3: Interesting as usual, with some funny moments. Thought Angel's "It's almost like I'm the bad guy" comment was particularly interesting... Showed a little more emotion than I expected from her.
Also, am I the only one who thought it was funny that Otonashi didn't check the list of names for his first name?

I had the very same impression when I saw the first episode, which was:
"Another lame anime with a crap plot in an attempt to gather fans that will watch it only for the ecchi factor?"
Proven wrong. Some of the more sexual and mature content in it just seems to be in there to amuse people, but it's not over-done. It's pretty damn good, I'd give it a 9/10.

B Gata H Kei [episode 3]
She's so adorable when she jumps up and screams "NO! NO!~". Her voice and how the character's face is drawn makes it pretty damn cute to watch. Then another scene at the lake was pretty cute too, about how she asked if he took pictures of people too, besides scenery and all. The scenery was pretty astounding to watch, I admit. Then there's the 'dark room' scene that made me burst out laughing. Hahahahaha!

Edit ; The end of this episode made me realize how this anime portrays how the mind of a female and male can think in an extremely different way. I knew at first, but without a visual of a situation, it's hard to picture it. The ending of episode 3 was cute, because she tried to show-off so that he realizes that he should aim for her. Where as, he thinks the gap is now even bigger because there are so many guys out there that has a way better chance than he would, etc.

House of Five Leaves 1: Can only take his word for it that the lady is beautiful.
Both have nice songs.
Katanagatari 4: I'm going to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.
With the supposed strongest defeated (and they should add in the fight later though I can hardly believe they actually did that), I wonder where they will go with the series - the mystery of Kiki? Shichika's dialogue shows Togame's bad influence on him. I didn't expect that characterization of Nanami at all. They actually showed action this time though, so that's nice. I foresee a battle between Shichika and Nanami later in the series but under what circumstances?
But the episode was disappointing. I felt that it wasn't worth the 40-50 minutes I spent.

Are all of the girls in this anime this adorable? Seriously? This anime has like.. no ecchi, at all. Yet it's so compelling to watch. These girls are all too goddamn adorable to be realistic. TOO. ADORABLE. Suzuka is friggin adorable. I mean, getting mad at her brother because he promised to watch a shooting-star shower with her, and instead, is watching it with his friend. They didn't get to watch the star-shower til like god-knows how many years later, and they both apologized. This episode went from "Baaawwwww..." to "D'aaaaaw~" near the end.

Yojou-Han Shinwa Taikei1: Protagonist's a prick. Ozu is a nice guy but he just berates him the whole time. I like Akashi.

Working!! 01-04: This anime is so casual and so easy to relate to and the conflict between all the characters makes so much sense. I'm loving it so far.
Angel Beats! 01-04: Hmm... it has an interesting concept of a storyline. It reminds me of merging reality and fantasy when I was younger.
Shin Koihime Musou ~Otome Tairan~ 01-03: Koihime Musou, 'nuff said.
