Is there a cooldown on crafted weapon procs? It doesn't say there is one in the tool description, but the weapon I'm making gives the damage proc + 50% para and stun resist for 5 seconds. Armor procs give something similar but a lot of them have 1 min - 2min cooldowns.

Also, what stats do priests/paladins go for? Magic for priest, phys for paladin? Do pallys stack strength and priest stacks int?

Here's one of my favorite SS videos. Once SS get stronger, they can break superarmor easier and attack pretty freely.

There is no cooldown on weapon procs. However, Kdn recently changed crafted procs on everything (They're in major revamp mode for the past couple months)

Priests: Go magic damage/int for both advancements

Paladin --> Guardian: Physical damage

Paladin --> Crusader: Magical damage primarily, but they should balance out with physical as much as possible. If they're given a choice between physical or magical only on an item, they should choose magical. If they can get both, they should try for both

Guardian can try for both too, but it's not as necessary.

Edit: I forgot to mention that with the sniper job advancement, you get the skill that summons out a white flower. It's an amazing skill, and it's kind of like puppet in maple. You can notice it at around 1:00 in the video above.

It's all about knowing when you can attack and your teammates. And lag.

In a party of Sharpshooter [me], Priest, Mystic and Merc, I was still constantly pulling aggro. Merc was too scared to taunt I think, lol.

I've seen that video before and yah it is pretty amazing

Looking closely, I noticed his fake shot was giving him more distance than usual. If you watch around 0:57, it looks like he tumbles -> fake shot in mid air giving him more distance. I logged on my archer for comparison and it looks a lot shorter. I wasn't sure if adding more points increased distance so I checked the skill description on the dnest armory and it doesn't say it gives more distance.

Question - does paralyze have anything to do with super armor? I mean, the way I understand it, it should have everything to do with super armor. Paralyze makes you flinch while super armor keeps you from flinching (or moving at all) while you finish your animation. If this is true, does that mean that increasing my paralyze stat will make the yellow super armor bars on mobs go down faster? Also, if I stacked paralyze resist (if this is all true) would that make me less likely to flinch during my attacks?

oops, I meant to edit my above post, not post again.

Edit - nvm I found the answer

I was actually about to post asking that, so can I get the answer? Also, how does stun/stun resist play into this?
I'm seem to flinch for abnormally long periods of time compared to my party members, wondering if either of the two can help me with this.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2011-10-31

Quote:It does not help with breaking superarmor. Paralyze only affects how long you flinch somebody when you do break their SA/when they have none. Paralyze resist reduces this time.

my crossbow is starting to grow on me. I've done all my cerb runs and farmed marissa's dryspring practicing with it. It's starting to feel pretty nice (even though i still wish it had the same range as a longbow).

OH BABY!!! Lady luck is on my side today!! I made both of these today. I think I only spent around 700g total to make both. Not gonna push my luck any further after this lol

Finally hit the range i'm trying to hit. If I can get a hold of some stamps, I can sell my epic axe.... Now I can either start saving up to get a +10 troll gauntlet or I can start upgrading my archer. I still need better jewelry on her.

went on two cerb normal runs with Somner, i dc'd through the middle of the first one, then somner didn't have an emblem so we went to get one, and alas, gold rabbit, used my last key and got trash, then went in, kicked some cerb ass, and i DC'd when returning to town.

now i go sleep ._. was fun man

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Mibs - 2011-11-02

Tried Cerb Hell again, having a lot of trouble staying within the 3 respawn limit. Barely made it through ;o.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Secun - 2011-11-02

So yeah, I've basically given up on this game due to the economy being complete pomegranate.
Just saying.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2011-11-02

what's wrong with the economy? Most of the stuff is pretty cheap other than high end things and average crystals

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Alilatias - 2011-11-02

The only thing wrong with the economy at the moment, as far as I can tell, involves level 32 gear and the lack of a good way to farm the average luster needed to upgrade them. At my current rate, I'm going to end up sticking with my +10-12 level 23/24 gear until the level cap is increased.

I personally think it's kinda stupid how these current dungeons don't drop average lustre outside of Abyss mode, where the drop rate is still godawful. They could have at least made Marissa's Dryspring, Submerged Ruins, and Black Soverign Assembly drop average lustre in Master difficulty if they're going to drop level 31/32 gear anyways.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2011-11-02

100% agree with that. The thing is, crude stuff dropped from all difficulties at the level 24 cap, so why don't average crystals drop in all difficulties in the saints haven dungeons? I've been farming Marissa's dryspring abyss for like 3 days now because I wanted to get evil eye masks for my mask. I finally gave up and just sold all of the ones I found haha. I drop rate for crystals is just so low from here though -_-"

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Secun - 2011-11-02

Oh, you mean the economy is more manageable now? I gave up when prices became so inflated due to all the gold buyers.

May potentially come back, then.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - 案山子 - 2011-11-02

I quit until Lv40 cap due to there no longer being a way to make decent progress.

It'd take hours for a few attempts at enhancing.

Log on to merch all day jon?!

I never merch in any game, and I think 6k is good enough.

Cerberus and Mino have nothing rewarding to me, especially not Mino.

do some pvp while you wait for the cap to increase. I've been having a blast

PvP is pomegranate to me.

I don't enjoy competition between strangers.
