The point was to show how much stronger madara is, especially since a senin minato can't even touch him with his strongest ninjutsus.

How can someone blame Minato for losing so fast when Naruto alone was carrying the whoe alliance during this war with half the Kyubi and Madara here not only has 9 times the chakra of Naruto, his own chakra, the senju chakra, the senin chakra and the rinnegan? I mean, didn't we all see this coming miles away?
Even if Naruto gets the other half of the Kyubi chakra, the logical outcome (at first) should be for him to be wiped out faster than Minato.

Doesn't matter if you can read attacks if your opponent moves faster than you can react. And we don't even know if Obito's "attack" even did any damage to Mardara.
I don't get how the rasengan was able to be maintained after Minato's arm was separated, or why Kakashi couldn't doge it.

I am pretty sure this is the answer. Madara threw 2 kicks before Minato moved one inch and hit them bot before they could realize what the heck he did.

Nah. Obito will use the power he has to syphon the energy from Madara, since they both have zetsu cells + the Sot9P chakra. It'll turn into this epic struggle of life or death, then Sasuke will come out of nowhere (prob. thanks to Orochimaru) and try to save the day... only to get his eyes taken by Madara and, right before he dies, Obito passes his chakra to Naruto, who comes back alive and enter sage mode, and with the Sot9P chakra will drag the jinchuuriki out and then get all of the kyuubi's chakra, which will turn the tide, and Naruto will save the day.

I am already 99% convinced that they will fall into the infinite Tsukuyomi, then Kamina walks in and reminds them to believe in themselves like he believes in them and they wake up proving Madara his idea was wrong all along.

Even if Guy opens up the Eighth Gate, I don't expect it to make a difference. How did he save Kakashi anyway? Did he carry him away or did he actually intercept Madara's attacks?
