They should do a Mario & Luigi stage for 3DS instead. Maybe Inside Bowser or Luigi's Dream World.

Polantaris Wrote:I can try, but if all the unlocks are like Melee I probably won't even realize how I unlocked them half of the time. I doubt you'd have access to everyone at once, though, that's half the fun of playing for the first week or so in my opinion.

Haha, while that would be appreciated, I didn't mean you had to specifically work it out yourself. I'm sure, say, gamefaqs will have a list of character unlocks (but spoiling which objective does which) written well before the western release. It would be appreciated either way though!(Don't feel you have to do it if it's too much trouble!).

If it were as straightforward as brawl (play subspace through), it'd be self explanatory, but I'm guessing it won't be nearly that easy this time.

Jebus.

What a drop in quality the amiibos are from the ones they showed at E3. Knew they wouldn't be nearly that good for any reasonable price.

What the hell? That's disgusting.

Looks like something you'd get from a flea market, or one of those little vending machines that you put spare change in to get lead based trinkets.

LOL WOW

I was thinking of buying a few, but if that is legitimately how they are, forget it.

Actually, the example shown above is probably the worst out of any of them. Characters like Fox and Link are still acceptable.

EDIT 2: Looks like I've been ninjer'd.

It seems only the Marth one is really bad.

I was hoping for not false advertising.

Either I'm blind or I don't really see the difference other than a color palette change...

It's mostly in details and texture. The "real" one looks a lot more "flat" in terms of color and texture. It looks cheaper and more bland.[/COLOR]

Maybe it's just the model, I have a little Pikachu on my desk and they look a lot closer together. Might be the distance from the cheeks?

Quite possibly, or maybe just an odd angle. Either way I'm getting that pikachu Big Grin

Pikachu's design has undergone some changes in design over the years. Maybe that's why?

I don't know, Pikachu was one of the ones I thought were spot on.

Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Sephie - 2014-07-29

It works really well for the more non-realistic cartoony characters like Kirby, Yoshi, and Villager. Marth, Link, and probably a bunch of others are going to show the limitations of this medium however...

I wonder how crazy Bowser will be.

I'm definitely nabbing a Kirby and Yoshi.

Also side note, these things would be amazing to get autographs from pro smashers.

Any of them in particular I figure out I can let you guys know, to avoid spoiling yourselves of any actual unlocks, if you want. No promises of course, but I can try.
