Come on Kubo, this girl is supposed to be more capable than Kurotsuchi, who is singlehandledly cleaning Soul Society, to the point she gets on his nerves. Just make her pull out some smart plays and kill them all. If Kurotsuchi is the only redeeming factor of the series as of late, wouldn't 2 be even better?

What was so redeemable about this chapter really? All it did is foretell the happening of something tht just happened a chapter ago and has been happening for years.
Guy A: "You're not getting away, I'm stronger than you, now die"
Guy B: "You call that power? how boring, let me show you true power"
Guy A: "Sorry but I wasn't even being serious, now this is my true power, prepare"
Guy B: "Oh you are strong but you haven't seen the whole length of my strength, this is the end for you"
If anything all captains coming out at once to fight guys that have literally done nothing yet foretells the captains are fodder and will al die next chapter.

I pretty much assumed that the royal guard was going to be fodder until ichigo/grimmjaw came out of the wood work, it's like being surprised from someone not being terrible

I really doubt that's how it works. It has to be a substance that you can put INSIDE the body from what I got out of it. That said, though, he still could have made it much easier to pull off, by changing his lethal dose of water (what the pineapple could he even do about this? lmao), oxygen or carbon dioxide (He'd die literally by breathing), There's any number of things really... but instead he chooses BLOOD? Y'know, something he can easily bleed out just by cutting himself up a bit? Ridiculous. But it is what it is.

How did an ability like that keep him alive though? He said he never dies while "dealing" death to overs, yet he gets cut a second time and dies (I'm sure he died given Ywach was getting ready to fight in the last pages)
At the same time, what purpose does it have to think up all these complex abilities if their implementaion and countering them can be dealt so easily? Its just Kubo trying to predends theres real depth in Bleach.

The more I see Ichibei unleash more and more of his power without actually killing Yhwach (or w.e) the more evident it is he will end up losing.
I know it'd be silly for the last villain to be taken out by someone other than Ichigo, although I'm stargin to think maybe Kubo will pull a troll and it turns out Ichibei's been fighting a clone AGAIN, or Yhwach dies and Aizen raises as the last villain once more.

We don't know how strong is Ichigo right now, He barely fought anyone when he made it back to SS. This could be just like Ichigo fighting Aizen after training in that slow time dimension and once he gets serious there's no beating him.
As for this chapter, that A is for Asspull and anyone that says otherwise is dumb.

Ichigo is going to outright obliterate Bach, plot twist, he put all of his true soul/energy/presence into Ishida, where they fight, Ichigo loses unable to kill his friend, Aizen comes in, defeats Ishida, attempts to kill the spirit king/succeeds? Ichigo defeats aizen in blind rage, becomes the lynchpin of soul society, Orihime is left crying "kurosaki kun" as we fade away in the last chapter.
