Alchemy Recipes - Kabanaw - 2009-07-25 EmuAlert Wrote:The most you could ADD thanks to maker is 5 from a Wisdom Crystal, 5 from a Luk Crystal, and 5 from a Black Crystal. You can then pile on above average-ness and 12 slots after being Vicious Hammer'd, so you can end up getting a 70+ stat overall if you're going for perfection. :/ You can only add one one crystal to items lvl 70 and below. Meaning, 5 from a wisdom crystal. Judging from clean items, a lukless mage would get an extra 9 int from a dark calas, 8 from a glove, and 8 int from a shoe, meaning 25 extra int. I have 103 base luk, meaning a lukless mage has 99 more MA than me. With maker, I can get 10 int from a glove, 13 int from an overall, 9 int from a shield, and 9 int +1 ma from shoes, totaling 42 extra int, plus another say 6 int from level ups, totaling 48 int, which makes the gap between a lukless and me 84 MA. Since I can also put luk on my gear, i can get it up to 33 luk plus some from level ups. A zhelm and HT pendant make this 70 luk, more than enough to wear a lvl 163 ele staff. That extra 33 MA over the 130 wand closes the gap to only 51 MA, which any mage will tell you makes a difference but at high levels not that huge of one. Edit: Oh yeah, the whole luk vs. lukless thing was kind of off topic, but i'm just using it to show my previous point that it helps balance. (scrolled and hammered w/e) I guess my 31 int calas is crap now =( Alchemy Recipes - Kabanaw - 2009-07-25 SekushiKun Wrote:So that would result in a 75 int maximum Calas? (scrolled and hammered w/e) If you use an advanced wisdom crystal you can get about 10 INT clean. If you use all 10/30s on it, it can be 70 INT. But saying a 31 stat overall is crap because you could have a 70 stat one is like saying a 15 att SCG is crap because you could have a 27 att BWG. I'm just going to use low or mid for my reverse gear, then once i can forge it i'll go advanced for my timeless. Alchemy Recipes - JoshKun - 2009-07-25 How hard is it to make a 10 int clean Dark Calas? (What are the chances?) Alchemy Recipes - Kabanaw - 2009-07-25 SekushiKun Wrote:How hard is it to make a 10 int clean Dark Calas? (What are the chances?) Well, it depends on if you use a stimulator or not. If you use one, it can get up to 13 or 14 int clean, or could go as low as 6 with an advanced wisdom crystal. An advanced wisdom crystal, however, only has a 1% chance of appearing when you appraise a crystal. If you're wondering about probabilities of crystals/jewels being upgraded, you can find some good ones here. See Stereo's first post for some (slightly confusing) statistics on wis/dex/str/luk crystal appraising. To the best of my knowledge, a stimulator only changes the range from 8-10 clean (since clean ones are 3-5) to 9-10 clean. It just eliminates the "below average" stats. It does bear testing though, so I hope some people can post their Item Maker results. Odds are probably somewhere between 30% and 50% of being 10 int... Remember it was into some maker equation? Could perfectly be that too. But I can't match the name to an ID... one of the L120s is in the wrong section at any rate. Alchemy Recipes - BuNnYs1N - 2009-07-28 pardon me but i'm a bit confused after reading the chart. on the 4th column after level, name, and mesos there is a 'gem' column. so my question is: what are 'gems'? Alchemy Recipes - Komality - 2009-07-28 Gems are concidered to be jewels/crystals aka Diamonds, Dex Crystals, Opals, etc..
