The explicitly stated winning condition of the event was to be "most loved". The unloved was a bonus award, not one stated or implied. You're making up your own rationale, either based on how the results turned out, or on your own flawed understanding of the stated contest parameters.

It was always implied that there could be a "most unloved". Three different points pointed to the possibility of multiple winners.
