Familiar Hack - DragonsMirth - 2011-12-30 I remember years ago, when I was luring Jr. Yetis for some mass mobbing, someone (with a group of friends) called me a vac hacker and defamed me. Another time, I think, at Lv.5x-ish, me and my friends decided to go to the very end of Ludibrium's Path of Time. With around 4k HP, I spammed my HP potions like crazy and endured their constant blasts that stunned me. I was the only one that made it to the very end. However, a group of people ready for Pap shunned me and called me a hacker for passing the Gatekeepers. Sad to reach a breakthrough only to be looked down for something I hadn't done... I could feel that a decent amount of players would try to stay away from hackers and illegitimate stuff. But now, it's gone. It's depressing how a majority of the people are now looking up to hackers and want to bask in their "godliness", or, wouldn't even avoid hacked/glitched activities/areas/items/ANYTHING, but instead exploit it to its very core. A majority insist that it's impossible to play the game like this. Hilarious! It's either the people that changed, or the community's feeling due to Nexon's failures, I don't know. Maybe it's both, but even with all these cool, flashier, new content, one of the main reasons why people don't like the "new" MapleStory is because the whole attitude of the community changed, that's what's ruining the game. But now I'm done with this rant, and bid you guys a good night. ./end Familiar Hack - Liteness - 2011-12-30 ¬Rob Wrote:Same here. 9% total at 174, yeahh. It is slow but I like it ![]() Not too mention I may be intimidating ksers away from my solo maps. Evan hitting max dmg easily isn't easy to compete with, especially with the large delay on the hack aha Familiar Hack - CarrionCrow - 2011-12-30 Jerry-Boyle Wrote:I resorted to training in the maps that were good pre-lhc to avoid this familiar hack. Familiar Hack - byakugan - 2011-12-30 The people playing this game will never be satisfied. You would think that people wouldn't hack when you can lvl a character from lvl 1 to 4th job through regular means in just 2 weeks (and thats long). This is no doubt the worst it's ever been, the game has been taken over by haxers, all maps in LHC and Gate to the Future are taken by one and those who don't know how to hax or are too lazy to do it are teaming up with them (both of them are scum). One of the worst decisions nexon ever made was taking out lie detectors. Familiar Hack - Promised - 2011-12-30 byakugan Wrote:The people playing this game will never be satisfied. The problem is, they don't seem to be botting. When one comes into my map they tell me to CC and all that. And when I go recruiting for people I see them jumping around normally so their familiar is "in range" to kill. Unless that's botted (I'm not sure because the obvious bots I've seen are the ones who vac to one spot or teleport all over the map). Familiar Hack - Kaasoljoyyx - 2011-12-30 The familiar hack on its own doesn't bot. Every (maybe some exceptions) familiar hacker has a person controlling it. Implying the ones doing it know how it works? It is getting bad yea. Kinda like the PG hack days.. or that WH hack. It`l be fixed eventually but not before 2x. Today i even got called a bully for demanding that a hacker would leave the alliance or i'd kick the entire guild. In the end the guild leader was offline so we ended up deleting the alliance and remaking for the sake of our retaining principle. The excuses hackers come up with are absolutely pathetic. "I'm helping the game" ~ god makes me want to punch a kitten everytime i hear that lol. Trying to justify themselves by saying she was helping the guild with her hacks. But to me hacks are hacks, I know some do help but not by choice (i.e botters, dupers.. I'd much rather get the items legitly but since the FM is flooded with this pomegranate it's unavoidable some days.) pretty much by majority of the community being either being completely ignorant or just retarded. Familiar Hack - Raul - 2011-12-30 Durex Wrote:Implying the ones doing it know how it works? This is reminding me a lot of the PB hack. Hackers all over ToT and every training spot. Weirdly, I haven't seen a single hacker in Road of Regrets 5, even though the maps before that are crammed with hackers, and even a few of the oblivion maps have hackers. Wonder what's the deal with that... Also, how do they possibly rationalize this with "helping the game"? qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm that's the stupidest thing I've heard all day that competes with hamad for plain idiocy god damn Familiar Hack - Eos - 2011-12-30 Maybe this will finally drive Nexon to change the encryption again. Even adjusting the current "magic number" would be enough to knock out 99% of the abusers, and as bad as it is right now the few who know how to compensate for it would be much less likely to release it publicly again for a good long while. Most of those hackers don't even have god mode on, so they're afraid of lilynouch (Not that it would kill them if they're using familiar hacks) Familiar Hack - Raul - 2011-12-30 Justin Wrote:Most of those hackers don't even have god mode on, so they're afraid of lilynouch (Not that it would kill them if they're using familiar hacks) The damage reflect from Lilynouch barely does anything. All it does now is make all your hits do 1's and barely effect your HP. It used to not effect damage and just reflect some of it and I would keep attacking, even with 7k HP. That's weaksauce if they're afraid of dmgrefl. Familiar Hack - Combattente - 2011-12-30 Eos Wrote:Maybe this will finally drive Nexon to change the encryption again. Thinking it's THAT easy.. makes me want to facepalm because of them not doing it. ![]() Wait. We're forgetting they probably don't know how to. Familiar Hack - Mazz - 2011-12-30 Found a level 25 or so at Time Temple (what's the level req to get there? iirc 'the force of the ground is too strong' message shows when trying to go through the portal to Three Doors) and tracked him every so often, ended up getting to level 90 in about 40 minutes, tearing through all the Lyka, Dodo, and Lilynouch =/ Managing to not only screw people that train properly over, but also everyone that needed to do the TT boss quests. I don't see Nexon doing any bans for this, I think they'll just reluctantly patch it and hope everyone forgets. *sigh* Familiar Hack - Combattente - 2011-12-30 Mazz Wrote:Found a level 25 or so at Time Temple (what's the level req to get there? iirc 'the force of the ground is too strong' message shows when trying to go through the portal to Three Doors) and tracked him every so often, ended up getting to level 90 in about 40 minutes, tearing through all the Lyka, Dodo, and Lilynouch =/ Managing to not only screw people that train properly over, but also everyone that needed to do the TT boss quests. I guess we'll see lots more level 200s very soon, a good 80% of which will have used illegit ways. Also, Nexon is on their holidays right now. Probably there's nobody monitoring the game. I remember some game-breaking issues being in the game around this period of the last year, too, and they only did something after New Year's. I guess it's safe to say we shouldn't expect any actions taken against the hackers or fixes until then. Familiar Hack - Cattle - 2011-12-30 I guess this is the reason why I've been seeing loads of lv200's lately. There's at least 5 every day in Windia. If they're able to do that, then why not just change the damage formula so that they hit 2.147b every time? @above: I see about 2 every hour in KMS, so that's not a good measurement.
