If you look at her hood, she actually looks like a ranger themed character, besides the fact she looks like a Phantom, with the half face piece. Which might have something to do with the name Phantom Forest, which is right before CWK. (Just brainstorming). Also if you look at the Storm breaker's armor it looks very similar to Boss Hunter armor. That was where you door to the Badlands. Obviously, it doesn't work now. Peeps, your just making a reference to the map this sign is on. ![]() If it really was the eventual entrance to the badlands map you would likely see stairs(leading in a different direction then the escalator/stairs) in either of the two maps. Otherwise Page, I may not be Issac, but my best speculation is that its purpose is for possibly one of three things. Either its nothing, just a sign, like a door that might just lead to a janitors closet/break room. It could possibly be for something, but there is not enough evidence to support it leading anywhere at this moment in time(not like they would do a clone of the kerning subway). Or the most grim, just a sign, used to fill a space players were questioning about its future use. Nothing is there and nothing is planned/will be planned to be there. Take your pick, not much of a choice at the moment. I just think of it as where Bell and the other regularly busy NPCs of NLC go for a coffee break during patches. No body knows what goes on in there, other then there is only an odd smell of caffeine that pops up every few weeks. Masteria Expansions, Names and the proof for each - randompeep - 2008-08-08 In that room may be stairs down into the Badlands (probably not). Someone somewhere posted about catacombs underneath Affluent Tower. (Catacombs exist underneath the eiffel tower, after all). Alternate entrance, maybe? Or, thats the future entrance to a new subway that takes you to somewhere in Ossyria. Masteria Expansions, Names and the proof for each - Gearfree - 2008-08-08 randompeep Wrote:In that room may be stairs down into the Badlands (probably not). The catacombs are actually under the entirety of Paris little peep. While there is a possibility of the Mesogears laying underneath a big portion of NLC, its most likely that its just under Bigger Ben. The only catacombs were likely to see in the meanwhile is in or around the remains of the keep. Concerning the tower, the theory most suggested is that when the tower opens fully there will be a portal to Versal near the top. Read the back stories if you want to know more. Masteria Expansions, Names and the proof for each - randompeep - 2008-08-10 Now that there is a CW map, i'll run some speculation.

Masteria Expansions, Names and the proof for each - IsaacGS - 2008-08-16 Time for a little Crimsonwood Keep Plot analysis! We've learned a LOT about the past of Masteria in this patch. 1. Masteria did not, in fact, sink into the ocean. According to Taggrin and Lukan, there was a huge flash of light and it was warped to "another world". This other world is obviously Versal. This explains a lot of odd things, like how the flora and fauna could have survived while the continent was under the ocean. 2. The current Crimsonwood Keep is not being run by the original owners. Instead, some evil Versalians (Not to say all versalians are evil, we already have proof that's not the case) have taken hold of the area. This probably happened while the continent was gone. These "Twisted Masters", as they are referred to, have been responsible for other bad things, such as the I.AM.Robots going crazy and stealing John's maps in the first patch. 3. in the past of Crimsonwood, there were 5 guilds in the Keep. The Stormcasters, warriors who specialized in spear-wielding and Lightning Magic. The Flamekeepers, magician-archers who specialized in fire. The Windreavers, experts of all ranged weaponry. The Shadowknights, a guild of dark assassins who kept a special secret base called "The Watchtower" on the Isle of Vigilance, and watched as Masteria disappeared before their eyes. Finally, the bosshunters, who mostly kept to themselves and had members of all other groups in its ranks. 4. The enemies in the new area have names that reflect four of these groups; they have the knowledge of the original guilds, but being monsters obviously do not belong. They are members of an army being built by the Versalians to Attack New Leaf City and rob Christopher Crimsonheart's grave! 5. The Krakians, whom we always knew were not human, have now been revealed to be plant-type people. They were peaceful and secluded, until one day a mysterious Alchemist began manipulating them into doing his bidding. First he used them to annihilate the Taru, then set his sights on Crimsonwood. 6. The war between Crimsonwood and Krakia lasted for years, and as the plant-like Krakians died, they would often try to take control of the other plants around them. This led to them possessing the trees in the forest, and after thousands had died the Phantom Forest was created. 7.Crimsonwood Keep was established by Christopher Crimsonheart, who was the Warrior Grandmaster. The Magician Grandmaster was known as Delgrund. The other grandmasters' names have not come up yet. There's lots more but that's the most important things. I'll do more later. Masteria Expansions, Names and the proof for each - Takebacker - 2008-08-16 I think it's becoming more likely that we're going to be fighting christopher crimsonheart as a boss inside the keep. This sounds likely because he has a statue in the keep. It's either that, or the 4 evil versal grandmasters. Both would be an extremely challenging fight (which seems nexon likely seeing as they like challenges) as fighting FOUR bosses at once has never been done (excluding pink beens statues, zakums arms, and HTs parts since they're all parts). Also if those 4 bosses are as hard as nexon hypes them up to be, as you would have to split all the attackers to attack them. Even better, get a massive amount of marksmen to pierce them all at once! ![]() Christopher on the other hand has been said to have mastery over ALL FOUR JOBS. Imagine fighting a humanlike boss with knowledge and attacks of all classes. Epic. Just pineappleing epic. I'm thinking it's chris. Not because it's be fucking epic, but because it says "boss" (singular) on the release banner.

That would be really tough, and also awesome. They sort of have the opportunity for this to happen now, as Bigfoot and HH both spawn on several maps together. Perhaps it was a test to see how fighting two mobile bosses at once would work? The other possibility was that there might be some sort of Crimsonheart zombie (We know he was a monster at one point!), perhaps as a pre-boss for the versal 4, or as reinforcements after they are all defeated. the boss on the banner is referring to Bigfoot. :p Masteria Expansions, Names and the proof for each - Takebacker - 2008-08-16 IsaacGS Wrote:I was thinking that as well, fighting all 4 versal masters at once, each having a unique ability, perhaps one healing the others or something. D: Could it even be considered a boss if it's poisonable, stunnable, freezeable, and paralyzeable from a data standpoint though? xP I fought HH and BF with a lot of elder wraiths and i can tell you what a pain in the ass it is. I died twice, luckally BFs experience made that up. Prose said something about the boss map having lots of teleports though. I like the sound of that...imagine having the mage fly while the ranger, thief and warrior jumps from platform to platform. Each of them has fairly low touch damage, while their attacks deal higher. The mage can heal and do poison mist (this takes advantage of mists aspect to override other mists. For example, the mage boss uses mist and a F/P in the party uses mist to cancel out the boss's mist. I think this will be used at pink been in the future too), and the warrior/archer can rush/DB. The thief...he can have ridiculous avoid to pineapple the warriors over LOL. You'd have to have pretty much every class to fight those guys. I don't quite know how drops would work though. Have each boss drop stuff after death, or somehow make the last one down to drop everything. D: Could it even be considered a boss if it's poisonable, stunnable, freezeable, and paralyzeable from a data standpoint though? xPhaha, we're really on the same page cause I was thinking of the mage flying too. XD The drops could be determined by a fifth invisible monster that's summoned after all the other monsters in the map are destroyed. Similar tactics are often used in party quests. Or, they could each drop an ETC item or something, and all 4 would be needed to trigger a reactor which explodes with drops. The downside to a reactor is that it (probably? I'm not sure) wouldn't be affected by 2x drop. Masteria Expansions, Names and the proof for each - Takebacker - 2008-08-16 IsaacGS Wrote:haha, we're really on the same page cause I was thinking of the mage flying too. XD xD I doubt they would make it reactor style though. I hate making nexon sound greedy, but it might affect 2x drop sales. Maybe we're thinking too easy? Like you said, (if these guys truly are the bosses there that is xD) after these guys are killed maybe a 5th guy pops out (i have no idea who that would be if it isn't chris, though the way they made the story they could have anything happen and it'd be explainable) and you'd have to fight him. He could be stationary for a change, though it would defeat the purpose of the portals unless they made some sort of unique attack that attacks certain alternating platforms. Chris was the leader of the other masters as well as the warrior master right? He wasn't reigning over 4 masters? If it was the latter then these four could summon whoever is the master of the keep now. Masteria Expansions, Names and the proof for each - EngelRod - 2008-08-16 I tought of something, if there is a type of mob equivalent to a guild of the keep, why there isn't an equivalent to a bosshunter? I don't know if there is an explanation from quests, but the equivalent could be the 5th boss in the fight.

Good point. :f6: I'd much rather have them be trainable monsters that drop bosshunter stuff though. >_> Though a boss that drops bosshunter stuff doesn't sound too bad either. It would be awesome to fight the "Twisted Masters" all at once. Your beating up the Stormbreaker dude, then the Windraider starts sniping your ass off. And out of the shadows the Nightshadows starts attacking you. Finally, the Firebrand shows up and the real fight begins. I just hope they don't make another stationary boss... unless it has stuff that you really have to dodge. Like making a Menhir like thing start sweeping the floor so that you'd have to go up for a while or else die. We need more dodgeable things that one-hit KO people at bosses.
