A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure! [Story/Game] - tehflyer - 2011-06-08 A! ENTER THE ROOM I WANNA DIE. A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure! [Story/Game] - TheThunderBandit - 2011-06-08 Hmmm all good options..... I get a twilight zone feeling from A(*Cough*Howling Man*Cough COUGH*).... Anyone ever see that show? Not sure about B I don't think Derrick has much chance of hiding..... I gotta say A) Enter the room A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure! [Story/Game] - Throes - 2011-06-08 C) Return upstairs and allow Reginald to find him. Though he seems... shady, I don't think Reginald is out to kill anyone. Might as well admit to snooping around and see what this creepy character is all about. A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure! [Story/Game] - Dual - 2011-06-08 C I agree with Throes. It's too risky to be traveling around in the house by ourselves, and I don't trust going into that room, despite the fact that my spirit wants to help whatever is inside. A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure! [Story/Game] - Salguod - 2011-06-08 A) Enter the room. You've come this far. Definitely has the vibe of a bad end: you find something out, then Reginald stabs you from behind. However, a bad end means you can redo, while talking to Reginald will probably make you miss out on this chance. A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure! [Story/Game] - Turtally - 2011-06-08 A. ENTER, ENTER. DO IT. A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure! [Story/Game] - Holypie - 2011-06-09 A, this has stupid written all over it. And that means bad end! A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure! [Story/Game] - MetaSeraphim - 2011-06-10 Is it bad that most of us want him to die? A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure! [Story/Game] - tehflyer - 2011-06-11 Nope, not really. We're all very good people. A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure! [Story/Game] - FelixTM - 2011-06-11 #15 . . . enter the room. The door is heavy. Its old, rusted hinges screech upon being forced open. Derrick cringes as the horrible sound runs through his body, realizing his location is no longer a secret. Inside, his worst fears are confirmed. Lining the entire room are heavily barred cells, stretching all the way into the far, dark end. He slowly walks forward, unwilling to turn back after coming this far. Curiosity takes the place of fear. He passes the first two cells and finds them empty. The bars are rusted from the slowly leaking pipes all over the ceiling. Puddles dot the rough, cold floor. The air is dank. A moldy odor coats the room, growing stronger the closer he gets to the end. Another pair of cells. Empty. Derrick's curiosity begins to wane. He turns around, considering running out and dealing with Reginald. But as bad as he wants to, he can't. Deep down, he wants to know. Only four cells remain. An unsettling terror drives him forward past the third pair of empty cells. His feet lock up just before the end. The dim light barely extends to the final cages. His heart beats against his chest. Derrick holds the crying noise in his ears, certain it came from within... It disappeared when he opened the door. He knows he will find the source with a few more steps. He struggles to breathe, his body more terrified than ever. Not fear from the unknown--fear from knowing exactly what he's about to discover. It ignites from within him. A truth he held tightly, desperate to change. Taken from him. Derrick walks forward and faces the final cell on the left wall. Tears run down his face. His whole body convulses with sorrow. Inside the cell lies the love of his life. The woman of his dreams, her body malnourished and filthy. Her face stained with days of crying. She stares back at him, hardly able to move. She slowly tries to move her hard toward Derrick... "Naomi... I'm so sorry... I'm sorry it took me so long. I'm going to save you..." Steady footsteps, filled with arrogance, echo throughout the dungeon. Derrick panics and charges the bars, pounding them with his fists. "I'll get you out of here! Please hang on! He's not going to take me from you again!" The door slams shut as his footsteps come closer. "Stay away, Reginald! You...fiend!" "Oh? Now this just will not do, Derrick," Reginald says, disappointed. He stops mere feet from Derrick, the dim light perfectly highlighting his wicked face. "You were not supposed to find her again..." He pauses and watches the young lovers hold hands through the bars, their faces soaked with tears, resigned to their fate. "I have to concede, however, that it is quite amusing. The bond you two share is hard for even myself to control." "I won't stop trying! I will never give up until we're safely together again!" Derrick screams, giving way to anger. "I WILL KILL YOU!" He charges Reginald head-on with clenched fists. But his threat is empty. Reginald walks right up to him, his entire being frozen in time. "How disappointing. I expected a better show from you, honestly." Reginald sighs and waves his hand. Beyond explanation, Derrick is suddenly in the other cell, opposite Naomi, without his possessions. "Enjoy the last of your days just out of reach, watching her rot away. I have others to play with, anyway." He snickers and leaves the dungeon, leaving them alone. Locked in their cages. Forced to watch each other fade away. The heavy door slams shut, sealing their fates... "NO! COME BACK! I'LL MAKE YOU PAY!" Derrick's screams fade with every passing day. His body aches from starvation, surviving solely on the little water his cell provides him. Through the bars, he watches Naomi. She struggles to speak to him, but her words never come. And after another week of suffering, death finally grips her. Her hand inches across the floor, as far as she can force it, toward Derrick... "...I...lo-..." Derrick reaches for her hand. The bars stop him short, so he pushes even harder. The rusty metal cuts his skin, but he keeps pushing...until he can go no further. His heart breaks, defeated by Reginald's final act of cruelty. Unable to even touch his lover in death. Sobbing, he closes his eyes. For the last time. DEAD END Derrick is dead. You have failed, but from his sacrifice you gain insight. Will it help you? --- B) Return upstairs and try hiding from Reginald. C) Return upstairs and allow Reginald to find him. ---

Obviously can't choose A anymore. First to five continues the story anew! A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure! [Story/Game] - MetaSeraphim - 2011-06-11 Well, that was rather interesting. Though a bit confusing since Derrick suddenly started acting like he remembered everything. I am going to go with C this time. Even though we've seen what Reg can do hiding from him in his own house most likely won't end well for us. A Southperry Choose Your Own Adventure!
