But it won't be a normal mafia game so I don't know how people will take it. Usually it stands in place for a dice or other medium as far as deciding things in some random way. MetaSeraphim Wrote:I did know that you were bluffing, I was just saying that we were both bluffing that day. So you misread my post. Lol I guess I could post up some of my other roles I had made up. Some of there were extras, and some were in the original game. Edit: Realized that doesn't really answer your question. The short answer, it was because I felt like it. The long answer, it was chance that it turned out that way. Extra/Replaced Roles: pear: You are Jet Black Three, a seemingly insignificant card, but your name belies the secret power you’ve got going for you. You’ve got three abilities after all, and that’s pretty powereful . . . though two of them are the same, just usable at different times. At night you may PM ElelctricSix with “Night x - Protect USER.” and also during the day you may PM ElectricSix with “Day x - Protect USER“. The USER will be protected from any harmful actions during that time period, including lynching. Of course if you choose to do so, you will reveal yourself to them. Not entirely of course, but they will know you protected them. You may only use that ability on any one USER twice before you must switch your target, I.e. One day/night cycle for the same person, then you must switch to a different USER. Afterwards you may return to the target, but the same restrictions apply. You may not use this ability on yourself. Though you can use these abilities every day/night cycle, doing so repeatedly may result in failures, as every day and night without rest makes you a little, or a lot, sloppier in your protection. The last ability you may use is a secret . . . and it just happens to be so secret that not even you know what it does! At night you may PM ElectricSix with “Night x - Secret USER“. You may only use that ability once every three nights, I.e. Night 0, then Night 3, then Night 6, though you don’t have to use it on Night 0, or at all, if you don’t want to. You won’t know exactly what you did, but you’re sure to have done something significant. You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive. pear: You are Ruby Seven, a pretty lucky number, and a jewel to boot, but you’ve chosen not to believe in luck . . . or that you‘re as sparkly as a ruby. As a result, you’re just a regular card. Too bad you couldn’t be more like Carbon Black Seven, he embraced his luck and as a result, he can do some rather interesting things. Of course it might not be wise to reveal his lucky existence . . . or yours for that matter. After all, there are some rather dangerous cards around. You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive. pear: You are Bittersweet Nine, a mafia member. However, like your name, this knowledge is bittersweet. After all your mafian allies don’t even know you exist. Must be some sort of color blindness or something. Still, you can help them out, and help them even more if they remember you! If inspected before they find you, you will appear to be a regular town card. If inspected after you have been found, you will show as a mafia member. At night you may PM ElectricSix with “Night x - Help USER“. Of course your help is just like you: bittersweet. If the USER is targeted with a mafian action, it will become null and void as you bungle their otherwise excellent abilities. If it is any other night action, it will reflect back upon the USER that used it. Which may or may not be helpful, depending on what that might be. Of course should you be remembered by the other mafia, your help becomes slightly less bittersweet. Then you may PM ElectricSix with “Night x - Help ALLY“. That USER’s ability becomes top priority, and you may use that on yourself. You may still use your previous ability, but only every other night as you’re far less bittersweet once your allies remember you, I.e. Night 0, then Night 2, then Night 4, and so on. You may not PM your mafian allies until they’ve successfully discovered you. If all of your mafia allies are dead, even if they haven’t discovered you, at night you may PM ElectricSix with Night x - Dissolve User, they will subsequently dissolve into nothingness after hearing your emo monologue about being the last mafian alive, however the resulting depression means you can‘t use it the next night. Not to worry though, your other abilities remain intact. You win if at least one member of your group is alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same). pear: You are the Sane Joker. You’re not like the other regular cards, but you’re okay with that. It’s hard being one of only two oddballs amidst this world of cards, but you’ve managed. As a result, you’ve gained a certain clarity that few can imagine, but it’s not hard to see the madness on the other side. If not for your sanity, who knows what sort of crazy things you might do with your abilities. But you’re sane, so at night you may PM ElectricSix with “Night x - Watch USER“. You will discover whether they‘re a regular, irregular, or lucky card. Three times during the game, in exchange for not using your Watch ability, at night you may PM ElectricSix with “Night x - Knife USER”. It’s a serious thing killing other cards, but sometimes you’ve got to get rid of a few bad cards to save the good ones. You may not kill the lucky card with your knifing ability because it‘s way too lucky for that. In fact, it’s probably in your best interests that said lucky card, and most of the regular cards, stick around for as long as possible. Of course being an irregular card isn’t necessarily a bad thing either, it’s just means you‘re a bit different from the regular cards. If inspected, you will appear to be an irregular neutral card, even though you’re a town member card. You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive. pear: You are Pink Two. You were kidnapped and disfigured by Bloody Red Ace. As a result, you’ve decided to take on the Bloody Red Ace‘s appearance during the day in order to find and kill him. During the night time, you must remain hidden lest he discovers you have escaped him, and should you be inspected you will appear to have been kidnapped even though you‘re just hiding and biding your time. During the day you may PM ElectricSix with “Day x - Inspect USER”. You will receive their role name, but only if you vote for them that day. It’s a risky move, but you’ve got a serious case of revenge going on so you‘re willing to look a bit like a mafian to get the deed done. Once at night during the game you may PM ElectricSix with “Night x - Replace USER”. You will kill that person, and take their place. If they are not the Bloody Red Ace, your replacement is discovered, and you will be killed. If inspected after using this ability, you will appear to be a mafian, even though you are a town member. You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive. pear: You are the Scarlet Queen. A card torn by her love of two different cards, you must carefully juggle both relationships lest either find out about the other. At night you may PM User or User as you please, however should your infidelity be revealed to either of them, you will be killed, as neither of them would be happy learning of your unfaithfulness. During the night you may also PM ElectricSix with “Night x - Seduce USER” blocking any night action they may take or that is taken against them, with one exception; Inspection, which will instead redirect the inspector to you. After all, it’s a risky business seducing others while you juggle two men. Also, in the event that one of your lovers is killed, you may PM ElectricSix with “Night x - Poison USER”. Doing so will result in a coin flip. A heads results in you killing them cleanly while a tails results in you killing them, but accidentally poison yourself as well. Should both of your lovers die, you may PM ElectricSix with “Day x - Lynch USER”. That user will be lynched regardless of votes for any other user, but the resulting heartbreak will be too much for you, and you will kill yourself that night. You win if you and your lover are the last ones alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same). . . though there’s only room for one lover to win with you, so one of them will have to die if it comes down to just you three. pear: You are the Crimson King. You have had a long and loving marriage with the Scarlet Queen and you are also the powerful leader of the Red Group. If inspected, you will appear to be a member of the mafia, even though you‘re not one. But that’s the price you pay for be willing to throw away everything for your lover. Anyway, as the Red Group Leader, during the day you may PM ElectricSix with “Day x - Doublevote USER”. Using your influence and power, that USER’s vote will be doubled. Additionally, as the Scarlet Queen’s lover, you may PM USER at night to discuss the game. . . or your love for her and her enormous rack. In the event that she dies, in your grief you may replace your double voting ability and instead PM ElectricSix with “Day x - Behead USER”. Thus in addition to the lynch that day, a beheading will occur, though it should be noted that the lynching and beheading may not happen to the same USER. However, as such gross misuse of power is a rather bad quality for a leader, any remaining cards in the Red Group will lynch you the next day. If there are no remaining card in the red group, you survive, but you can’t win. You win if both you and your lover are alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same).pear: You are the Black Jack. Indeed it is fitting that you have that name as you can do amazing things to save people, or in this case, your fellow cards. Unfortunately you cannot use most of your spectacular abilities during the day, and thus your nightly movements make you appear to be a mafia member upon inspection. At night, with the exception of Night 0, you may PM ElectricSix with “Night x - Redeal USER”. What follows will be a game of Black Jack, just like your name states. You will be dealt 2 cards via PM and will see one card from ElectricSix‘s hand. You may choose Fold, Hit, Double Down (If you get doubles), or Stay. A 21 instantly revives USER. A Fold or Bust leaves you unable to revive the user. A Double Down allows you to select another USER to revive if you wish to do so. If you stay, or take a hit, and win against ElectricSix, the USER you’ve selected will be given a revival procedure. If an action would normally kill you, including a lynch, you may attempt to revive yourself, but you are limited to doing so three times in the game. You will be informed of any attempts to kill you at night due to your excellent senses, but will be unable to determine who attempted to do so should you succeed in your revival attempt. The redeal procedure allows a successful kill pm to be sent to whomever wished the USER dead, but revives the USER afterwards to continue on with the game. If the USER you used this on isn’t killed at night, all is not lost however, as during the day you may PM ElectricSix with “Day x - Mark USER”. You must again play a game, but a far simpler one. A deck of cards, minus Jack through King, will be assembled and a card will be drawn. You must guess whether it is an odd or even numbered card. If guessed correctly, the person will count towards the redeal total for as long as they remain alive. Of course they are not informed of this fact, but their absence during the day will be noted, and you will be unable to vote for that day as well. You win if, besides yourself, all the remaining players are marked as redealt cards. pear: You are the Ebony Ace. Though you’re on different sides, you couldn’t help falling love with the Scarlet Queen. At night you may PM User to discuss the day’s events . . . or how much you love her and her enormous rack. In the event that she dies, you may decide to take revenge and PM ElectricSix with “Night x - Impale USER”. The USER will die after being impaled upon your mighty spear. You may only use your ability once though, as you remain more of a lover than a fighter. You win if both you are the Scarlet Queen are alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same). Hidden: If the Scarlet Queen is dead, rather than remain unable to win, you may choose whom you want to help. You can decide to side with the town, the mafia, or retain your neutrality. You must PM ElectricSix with your decision within one Day and Night of your lover‘s death. Afterwards you may receive a new ability . . . or not, it depends on what you choose to do. If you do not PM ElectricSix within that timeframe, you will simply lose any chance of winning and remain as you are.pear: You are the Tuscan Red Ten. Why you choose such a moniker is up in the air, but for whatever reason you’ve got an apparent fetish for the number ten, Tuscany, and the color red. As such, should the game reach Night 10, you will go crazy and kill anyone that‘s not a regular card. It’s not that you’re particularly powerful, it’s just that if the game lasts that long you‘ve probably lost almost all of the regular cards you call friends, and after you kill one card, well the red colored haze you find yourself in will claim everyone else that‘s not like you. Of course chances are good you‘ll be the only regular card alive at that point, but it‘s still possible one or two may exist. XP Anyway you can win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive . . . which as you may have guessed, means most regular cards are your friends. ;D If inspected you will be shown as a regular card as your win condition is difficult enough to fulfill without other finding out about it. Hidden: If targeted for death via night action, a PM may be sent to randomly ask any town member whether they would like to sacrafice themselves to save USER. If so, the latter USER will die in place of the former USER.pear: You are the Smoky Black Five. You’re pretty fly for a white guy . . . even though you’re a black guy that‘s name sounds more like a jazz band. Then again, this town really is quite strange like that. Your color confusion isn’t too bad though, it masks the fact that you are a regular card in all other ways. You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.
