DualReaver Wrote:Suddenly, Kurtle rushes into the building, wheezing a bit since he was obviously running to make it here. "Sorry, I got caught up in toilet paper this morning."

"That's fine," the mayor says. "However, in order to stick by the rule I laid down yesterday, I can't allow you to vote for showing up late." After finishing addressing Kurtle, the mayor claps his hands. "

ThatHurts' explanation is the only logical approach to this at the moment rather than voting on gut feelings

Lol?

Any rhyme or reason?

A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - Mira - 2010-10-15

We'll see if CJ's telling the truth with this one. Confused
[Vote] Holypie

Also, the only reason I can think of that Jon would random vote someone is to try to dissuade people from voting for Holypie in a sneaky but obvious way. Unless, of course, he has a reason. :3

Yes. The wood tells no lies.

...what?

A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - ChaoticCJ - 2010-10-15

I feel like I am posting too much...but whatever I'll probably die tonight anyways.

Mira Wrote:We'll see if CJ's telling the truth with this one. Confused

Disclaimer: This is all theory. If someone other than me blocked we may be going after the wrong person. If the mafia did not kill we may be going after the wrong person. If there is a Bus Driver that messed with my ability then speak up(Bus Driver could also be mafia for all we know). and so on...

If someone else has a better clue we will go with that.

KajitiSouls Wrote:...what?

I assume you speak of Corn's house that burnt down. You may possibly be some sort of Inspector/Investigator? Even so like Mira said you could be mafia that is diverting attention from pie.

Not sure that "wood" is a good enough reason to change my vote yet.

Edit: Yeah and there is Mute who is the detective.

Just a guess, but commenting on a successful town-aligned action, such as a doctor saving someone, is often a scum tell. MasPan's first post today as exactly that. I would've voted for him too if Holypie hadn't become the obvious choice.

A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - Jon - 2010-10-15

I'll change my vote to

[vote] Holypie

to bring the end of the day closer.

A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - Dusk - 2010-10-15

Not much to do but [vote] Holypie.

It's a bad thing to be happy that nobody died last night?

Because Tobi thinks he may die tonight (and, well, it's likely, since Yoshi might be the only doctor role we have): who do you suspect, Tobi?

Well, since you're all bandwagoning me anyway, I'm the judge, the townie lynch blocker, if necessary. I can block 3 lynches, so it's no use in voting for me. If you do it will fail. Do you still want to waste a day?

Where did he say that? It sounds like you've been communicating outside the thread.

@ Pie, if you really are the judge, you won't mind proving it by blocking your lynch today - a confirmed townie is a lot more trustworthy than a roleclaim.

Well guys, that's like, 9 votes on Holypie out of 15 people. I think that makes majority, lol.

Sorry for not doing this sooner, but I was at school.
________________________
You all begin casting fingers, and eventually a lot of them land upon Holypie. You all move forward to grab him, but he moves back and pulls out a piece of paper.

"I think you people are far too eager to cause more death in this group. You barely have any evidence, and despite the fact that the town is being assaulted by some unknown group, there are still laws in this town," he says, slapping the paper as he speaks. "For today, I am personally calling an ending to this meeting. Go home everyone." With this, Holypie begins to hobble off towards his home. You all stand there, knowing his words to be true. It looks like, in your search to find monsters, you have become monsters yourselves, senselessly sending people to their deaths for the smallest things.
_________________________

That is the end of Day 3. Nobody is lynched, yet again. It is now Night 3. Get those night actions in people, as the night will end at somewhere between Noon and 1 PM EST tomorrow, since it's a Saturday and I will be sleeping my ass off. And just a reminder, you are NOT allowed to talk about results or suspicions in the Discussion thread. You are asleep, so if you have something you wish to share with the town, you will have to tell them tomorrow.

And sine you'll be reading this sometime Mira, wanna change the thread title when you get a chance to? :3 Thanks.

I kind of already said I was the Major already, but if it wasn't clear enough, I am the Major (Named George by the way), I don't have any special powers (That's how I role-claimed earlier, saying major was just vanilla townie).
