Wrong. Bugs can show up anytime, in any patch, even the smallest one. And their tester staff still can not notice some of the bugs. So why didn't they open it? I'd have understood if it was Hoblin King PQ only, but.. it's also a totally new area there..
Sure, they have released it in several MapleStory versions in the past, so it has been "tested" several times.. Maybe that's the reason. Still, that doesn't mean that implementing it on GMS would give the same effect as implementing it in the other versions. Remember that MapleStory versions do NOT run all on the same code. Every version has some changes in theirs, which often makes it difficult to implement some of the new stuff. At least that's what Eurydice told us about "localization".
So yeah. I really hope they had good reasons not to open Tespia for this patch, and that they'll do it for Big Bang, AT LEAST. If they won't, I predict..

That would be true for almost any patch.
I think there was no Tespia this time because they imported this en block from MSEA and assume "no reason why it shouldn't work". They have zero attention to spare for Tespia or any other kind of testing, if Ray is correct and they absolutely have to have BB out ASAP or lose a ton of money. This patch is intended as the cheapest (in programmer time) sort of filler.
So, good reason to expect a bunch of things to behave oddly... they may well end up investing more time in emergency patches than they would have in decent testing, but that's Nexon for you.
