I already spend five dollars on a lunch a day. 2-3 bucks a month for a MoN/HTP combo? I sure as hell won't complain. Its still the whole "Free to play, but NX to be worth something" rule Nexon has developed. I'm still afraid of the programming on an expiring slot. It could get trapped forever in the slot or disappear forever when it dies. As for the pendant problem, unequip the 2nd pendant before you log off each time. That'll curb the fear of an serious programming error. That or write down the exact time and date the pendant will expire, and simply keep it off when the expiration date approaches, or buy a new 2nd pendant slot. [0.75] Nothing of the new guy - motomage - 2009-08-26 if your able to wear two mons... T___T gg yet again nexon... you nerf ht pendants back to +1 yet give wep attackers the ability to stack mons and gain something even better than a +3 pendant... mages on the other hand gain..... 16-17 ma? You were not made for bossing/1v1 so after 1HKO'ing the entire map, you don't need to upgrade anymore. Tell me, at your level, what good would 100 extra magic attack be? [0.75] Nothing of the new guy - McAwesomesauce - 2009-08-26 I'm pissed I scrolled my crappy gloves/overalls/shoes/and xbow last night. [0.75] Nothing of the new guy - Xaorath - 2009-08-26 Wait.... so let me get this straight. "For the sake of game balance" they must reset the +3 HTP's, then during the same patch that fixes this issue, they release a CS item that allows you to equip two pendants? If you are able to wear two MoN's, thats the same thing as a 200 stat HTP for some players. Wow way to make sense nexon. As both a W.ATK and M.ATK player, I can safely say that hearing the arguement of "You hit 15 monsters at once" to try and justify Nexon's ratio of W.ATK to M.ATK is getting to be an old one. Maybe the extra MA wouldn't do as much for Magicians as it would for W.ATK classes, but if for no other reason than to see higher numbers, it's still nice to have. It would increase the chance of Bishops / AM's one hitting Neutral monsters such as the monsters in the Road to Oblivion and perhaps allow Bishops to 1 - Hit newties. It would also increase the speed in which Bishops and Arch Mages solo bosses such as Pianus and Pap. Besides, if what you say is true and 100 extra Magic doesn't do anything for Magicians, why is it necessary "for the sake of game balance" to reset these pendants? Even if you could equip two +3 HTP's, that's only 208 stats... +2 12 ATK marks is almost just as bad at high levels being the upwards of 200 stats. [0.75] Nothing of the new guy - FelixTM - 2009-08-26 Xaorath Wrote:"For the sake of game balance" People really need to drop this idea. Stop thinking into it, period. Nexon fixed it because it was an unintended issue created by their carelessness. HT pends were never meant to be scrolled with more than one dragon stone. Hammers created a bypass for that. Nexon corrected their mistake. Obviously there's lots of crazy imbalance issues in MS, but the HT pend incident isn't related. Dumb mistake that was fixed. That's all. [0.75] Nothing of the new guy - Skylit - 2009-08-26 Nexon is just money hungry, simple. [0.75] Nothing of the new guy - KhainiWest - 2009-08-26 Xaorath Wrote:Wait.... so let me get this straight. Wow way to make sense nexon. 52 pendent makes stat characters obsolete, two mons add a massive attack power but im pretty sure the concern was a player wearing a zhelm/52 pendent could and with 25 base dex can easily equip the reverse equips dexless. What difference does that make? Two 12 ATK MoN's is MORE power than wearing two +3 HTP's. 2x MON (potentially) = +24 ATK, +10 to each Stat, +600 HP and +600 MP. 24 ATK is the upwards of 200 stats for some people. 2x HTP is around 160 stats for most people, because the secondary stat on the second necklace would be nigh useless considering how easy it is to go statless with just one +3 pendant anyway. In short, +2 MON's is even more imbalanced than the +3 HTP's. [0.75] Nothing of the new guy - Dual - 2009-08-26 Skylit Wrote:Nexon is just money hungry, simple. If they were that money hungry they would have kept the 20/20 AP resets and would have never fixed the HTP because they made $13 off each one. Sure they're greedy, but not as greedy as they used to be. [0.75] Nothing of the new guy - KhainiWest - 2009-08-26 Xaorath Wrote:What difference does that make? Two 12 ATK MoN's is MORE power than wearing two +3 HTP's. Okay heres a thought, perhaps the 5 hour delay is to make players unable to hold two mons at once? The difference is a 52 stat user gets 52 extra luk(nearly 10 weapon attack) plus another 52 luk (10 more weapon attack) stacked on a timeless weapon (claw in this case around 85 weapon attack) to get a grand total of (average) 45 extra weapon attack. Oh wait, 25 dex so you get a grand total of around 40.1 weapon attack. It breaks the point of secondary stats. Yes as everyone else will tell you when you're hitting 15 monsters at once it's not enough. No instead you want to solo bossers faster when you arent build for it to begin with e_e. I mean you can't have everything so get over it, make an attack class with funds of your mage/bish. Problem solved. |
