Seems there's a "Blood Shard" exploit running around and it was just leaked to the public a few hours ago. Apparently it was used a lot in Season 2.
Rough idea of how it works:
Quote:Make a game with at least one friend, find a bloodshard goblin in the open world but don't kill it. One of you guys go back to town and open a grift the highest level you can let's say 40. Kill the blood shard goblin and you will get the Grift 40 multiplier for the Blood Shard. I don't know how much is the multiplier but you get what, about 200 or maybe more BS from lvl 40 and at T6 you get 250 blood shards from Goblins so you will get somewhere around 3k Blood Shards I presume.

By Blood Shard farming on my Barbarian, I have gotten the full Unhallowed Essence set for my Demon Hunter (including an ancient helmet) in a single day.

As for failing to beat the timer yielding no gem upgrades..... bad idea. That just makes failing to beat the timer by just one second (Oh yes, they DO come that close.) a wasted run. And..... anyone who spends an hour on a single Greater Rift just for three marginal increases DESERVES the 100% upgrade chances.
But the obvious solution is to limit the level selection to your highest cleared level. Don't know why Blizzard has to make things unnecessarily complicated sometimes.

So close, yet, so far.....
I mean, it's ancient and has most of the right rolls for the build. (Including +Elemental Arrow.) But..... only 9 Discipline when I need 12 and 36% speed when I need to get 30-33% for the maximum amount of hits.
What do I do?

So I played around with my DH for a bit and decided I don't like the build.
.....Now I'm back on my Barbarian trying to decide what to do next. (Besides trying to push Greater Rifts. Just managed to beat 46 because I got a nice populated map and Tethrys who is a joke outside of her black puddles. Did not do so well when I got Etheron instead.) Got an Ancient Crown of the Primus from a Greater Rift, so maybe I'll try DMO out, since I loved Frozen Orb back in D2 and this it's the closest thing we're getting to a Frozen Orb build.

Next goal is 1 billion (easy) then 2 billion.
I say 1 billion is easy because I didn't have my 35% dodge buff from my dash at that point (it had just run out i think) and my Epiphany is set to bonus spirit regen not 50% dmg reduction anyways so we'll see if I can get it higher.

T6 solo rift and GR32 now that I have Zuni 6 set, now to merely grind and improve gear.
Took out the rift guardian in around 8 seconds...
3,782,297,728 health in 8 seconds, so around 472,537,216 overall damage per second for that fight.
Which is ABSURDLY POWERFUL compared to what I used to be.
The difference between set 6 and not is GR25 to 32.

Fucking RNG. I've gone from being stuck on Greater Rift 47 to GR 46 because I keep getting stuck with RGs like Sandshaper and Voracity in narrow passageway maps.
So I really have to wonder, by what metric did Blizzard determine Mortick's was overpowered by? Stonesinger fishing?
