Beatrice's counters were almost all spoken normally, what's with that? Battler didn't even investigate the island for clues after the episode 4 events. Ange's scene, although still emotional, was not nearly as heart striking as it should have been. Battler should have been skeptical as to if Ange is really his ally or not. He's not sure if he can believe Ange is really there to help him, and he says;
"You can't trust anything, you can't trust any words that aren't red...!!"

With that, Ange proceeds to respond to him in red;

"Hurry up and come back home, big brother!
Don't leave me alone!
It's me, Ange!
Neither dad, nor mom, nor big brother return home!


It's only then that Battler snaps out of his broken state. The anime didn't really show this at all. Ange didn't even need to tell who she was in the anime, because Battler regained himself just fine without knowing who Ange was. He was willing to trust anyone in this episode. What's up with not keeping the bit at the end where Ange makes Battler promise that he won't turn back when she lets go? Where she says she wants him to show her his best moves against Beatrice?

Are they suggesting a season 3 that'll be awfully similar to what just happened, or just that the whole thing will be a sort of recursive ordeal? Disappointed by lack of action. Still not entirely sure what short-blond-hair-big-boob-spacesuit lady's deal is.
