DrRusty Wrote:BTW, anyone having trouble with mana? I have mana crest, +6.5% total mana on 3 pieces of gear, 2 points into the mana talent, and I'm still going OOM. I can't get through a Master level dungeon without running out of mana before the end (unless I get food somewhere). I'm at 8700 mana (more than my health which is 8100).

Buy some mana potions from the general shop. The level 24 mana potions restore like 800 MP. You can also try getting stronger weapons so you don't need to use as many abilities/mana to kill stuff. +10 level 23 bows and quivers should be rather cheap now, or at least they are in Velskud. (Managed to nab a +12 Discoverer Bow and Quiver for about 650 gold total last week.)

This is my prospective artillery build if we ever get a free reset. Raizoo how did you manage the twin shot/piercing shot/multi shot triad?

I'm using +8 discovery bow and quiver atm. I'm just gonna use this until I can use better ones at lvl 31. I have a +8 lvl 31 quiver in my bank but I know I can do way better than that.

Woo, Acro is 24. Gold Rabbit when I had no key because I forgot the lvl 32 in our party left. Wahahah.
Some guy was lagging hxc and someone else got a High Spin Kick plate. Would probably have gotten the same thing, so didn't miss much lol.

I'm planning to at least max Twin Shot. I don't know if I want to get high Piercing Shot or use SP elsewhere and leftovers go there. I'll prolly keep just 1 multi-shot. D:

Hana approves your build. The only difference between our build is the ex skill. I thought you weren't going to max Ankle Shot =P.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Holypie - 2011-10-17

Changed my mind after realizing how stupid maxed multi shot is.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2011-10-18

If you buy the market thing that removes your weekly posting limit, does it apply to all characters on your account?

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Kaasoljoyyx - 2011-10-18

Various replies:

Multishot is used mostly to break super armor. It breaks almost all super armor on everything around level 8 I believe. i.e. When something is using a skill, you can use multi shot, KB them, and their skill will stop

Twin shot is okay, but I think my windwalker build has it at level 1~5 since I don't plan to PvP that much. You really wont' be using it as often as you think once you get to higher levels, or maybe its' just me. I only use it if everything else is on cooldown, which rarely happens. Most videos I see don't use twin shot too often either at 40/50. My SS hit 32 yesterday and with guided missles, I don't have to use pierce/twin shot too often now. There were times when I even had skills on cooldown level 31-, but part of that is also due to my gear being sub-par.

Ankle shot level increase also increases the "bind" time on targets.

I believe max crit chance is 95% as well.

The HP boost skills may not seem too helpful, but they're cheap. 5 SP for 1st point, and only 1 for the next points. Any leftover points usually go to these skills.

Marketpass only effects the characters that have it.

My planned artillery build if anyone's interested: http://dnarmory.com/skill-calc?c=2&sc=14&tc=30&ll=50#EGS4o2Ii_D3nESYJR9

@Shinku: I'll be on one of the following characters most likely today until 4pm pst and then be back after 9-10pm

What I don't like about Multi-shot is how I have to be a certain distance of what I'm using it on. It's fine on the Acro, but I have plenty of other more effective skills on the Sharpie.

I'm not levelling Twin Shot at all on my Acro, but I'll be putting as many points as I can into it on my Sharpie. You definitely won't be seeing much use for this as an Acro once you get to 32.

Hoh, lvl 2 Magical Breeze? I was thinking of getting lvl 2 Critical Break as well since it's passive. It's fun playing with the Korean sims since they've updated to the increased SP patch, but not 2 ultimates for some reason.

So does everybody play an archer? lol
It seems like almost everyone has one. I can't blame you guys though. It is the best class in the game =D

and ankle shot is pretty sweet. I'll double check the damage to see how it stacks up vs other skills

raizoo Wrote:Anyone on Argenta want to farm Lab? :VEles have long cooldowns. D:

And dunno about what plates you'd need, but look here for suggestions?

Oh good, I have all those plates already, by pure chance they were the first ones I ever found too.
I know we have long cooldowns, but I'm still able to attack nonstop because there's always something that's not on cooldown. I prefer slow, powerful hits anyways Smile

I'm really bored of my SS. I love AoE and survivability too much. Go Priests!

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Kevin - 2011-10-18

I'm having a tough time trying to like my archer since it's so weak. It's only at 20 atm though, I'll get it up later when I have more time.

SS is active just till the event ends.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2011-10-18

I'm a damage whore so I love my archer. I've always played the "avoid damage skill class" in every game I've played. I played a shadower and buccaneer in Maple and a rogue in WoW. Even the short time I played Aion I played an archer.

Here's the Merc build from "Mr. K".

So I got a minotaur skill plate and superb stunning plate and I was wondering if they were worth the trouble of stamping and selling. If they aren't I would use the minotaur plate, but what about the stunning plate? I have one slot left for a heraldy plate and already have a mystical, fierce, wise, health, and life-giving plates, so I was wondering if the stunning plate would be a good choice for the last slot, and if it isn't what would? Any help would be appreciated.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - 案山子 - 2011-10-18

Minotaur skill is definitely not worth selling, it takes 8 stamps to unbind.

Most of the money you would make would be just covering stamp value, so not as much profit separate from that.
