If anybody wants to do Dragonoid's Nest on King's Road with me over and over again, look for me on Luciform.

Im down for that Big Grin

I need some technical help. T_T
I used to be able to play Dfo, when it was in CBT.
Now I can't even get it to start, i'll start it from the site and then it'll run it's little patch thing and then it'll sit black for the longest time. Task manager tells me it is Not Responding, and I have no idea why it won't work.

Running Vista 32bit, though that shouldn't be the problem?

Hmm, might just be a delayed load time. Just let it load for a few minutes and see if that works. If not then im sorry D:.

 Spoiler

^o^

Now it's time to unlock Spider's Lair King's, and then FARMING day after day. I need to finish a few upgrades. I am saddened that I can't do all the new, delicious level 40 quests. Well, I could...but it'd be dumb. It's hard to resist.

If that isnt the best way to end a dungeon, I dont know what is Heart

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Mark - 2009-11-07

Geeez. GBL crap is raping me hard with no lube. I'm not having fun anymore..;-;

When does it end?

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Holypie - 2009-11-07

At 37ish? Ask one of the pro people who are done GBL. (Kajiti, Kyle)

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - USMC - 2009-11-07

Yeah the GBL quests sucks...gotta do lab 3more times after doing it so many times already. I feel your pain Felix Sad

GBL is all about taking away the fun and bringing the pain. It ends when you get all the quests there done. You must endure! Or you can just skip the place and level in Behemoth until 37. lol I hated level 37, though. 38-40 are much more fun.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - USMC - 2009-11-07

Felix, do you remember how many more quests are there after bringing Lotion 20 vials of mucus from the stacking octps? And is there some kind of special reward at the end for clearing all the quests?(title or something?)

Edit:

V I should be pretty close to the end then. Currently have 2 oxi substances, and 2x white cubes, but none crystal of light lol.

No, you don't get anything really "special" for clearing all of the Temple of Apostasy quests. No title. Just like exp, weapons and stuff. And the satisfaction of knowing you survived HELL. The last quest I was stuck on there for a while was the Epic where it wants you to kill 10 Lotus Spawn on Master's. After you pass that, you have to clear Hatchery on Expert's once and then twice more on Master's (iirc). That was the end for me.

If you want the Honorary GBL Follower title (the current last one), you have to complete GSD's Creating Repose Incense (the nasty one that wants 5 Oxidized Substances). After you complete it, you'll get a quest in the Chamber of Blood that will give you the title.

Finally found Mr. Red Zombie after one Normal Shadow Thunderlands. Not a big loss of fatigue though, since I got a good 26k EXP for clearing it. I'll advance later when I get home and can hit Dragon's Nest as a new Exorcist. Biggrin

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Mark - 2009-11-07

I've noticed the Crimson Zombie only appears if the boss room is on the bottom right side of the map. Lemme see if I can explain it any better.

However if the Boss is where the Zombie is supposed to be, he won't show up.

Actually, I'm finding Mount Thunderime much worse than Temple of Apostacy. >_> Oh hey, cold place where my freeze grenades don't work on many things, fast bosses that I can't knock back... Apart from Isadora, Temple of Apostacy wasn't that bad really.

LIES. Temple of Apostasy was not kind, but I do see your point. ToA was painful and mentally taxing, but it wasn't that hard by biting the bullet and pushing through. The Ridge and Frozenheart are insanely easy, as were their quests.

But when it comes to Ryku Point and Bwanga's Camp...ouch. I can't deny they are the two hardest dungeons in DFO currently. Ryku Point is the only dungeon I am actually UNABLE (literally, it's impossible) to solo on Master's+. I should try again now that I'm 40. I've never tried soloing Bwanga on King's, so I dunno how that'd go. He scares me. I guess I just thought Mount Thunderime was less painful, overall, because the quests went faster (probably because unlike ToA, where I solo'd almost of them, Kajiti helped me with Ryku and Bwanga).

It's safe to say that Noire Ferra is a pushover, though. I love both of its dungeons, but they are perhaps...too easy. The only thing I dislike about them is all the Naiases (ice spirit f'aggots).

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Holypie - 2009-11-07

Wisps suck more than Naiases. Wisps teleport behind you and STUN THE F'UCK OUT OF YOU.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - FelixTM - 2009-11-07

I happen to like Wisps. They never gave me any trouble. Just always gotta keep moving (easy for Witches). When you're going through Shallow Keep and come across the rooms with like 10 or so Naiases in a tiny space, you will learn the pain. I think I've only cleared those rooms (on King's, naturally) ONCE without taking damage.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Holypie - 2009-11-07

Fine, but any spirit is horrible in a tiny space,

You. Me. Dragonoid Nest. Kings. Kickass Exorcist Power. Cool.
