It was a really tricky position to get into because the Sentry and Elemental Arrow itself was barely out of range to hit, but the rockets were able to connect. There's also the case of Sentries still firing regular bolts after they shoot a spender. It doesn't slow down your spender at all, but it might be the cause for extra rockets. It's more noticeable with Polar Station and a non-Frost Arrow skill that it occasionally happens, but not all the time. Since this happens, Tasker and Theo might still increase that particular interaction. Here's an example of what I'm seeing: 5 Sentries performing auto-attack. The rockets more or less come out in sets of 5 together since the sentries are fairly synced and you can see the cluster they form.

The top of the new Marauder is significantly more powerful because of constant Elemental Arrow with Kridershot with another spender, and the 5 Sentry bonus with Bombardier's Rucksack. Without those, you're pretty out of luck if you're not running Immolation + Mortal Enemy because of the inconsistency in damage output and lack of bonus from 5 Sentries. For each Sentry active, you deal 100% more damage from your Generators and the spenders Sentries can use. Sentries will just do the normal skill damage. They'll still shoot as fast as you. Current PTR version is way overpowered and stuff. Like, a perfect 4.15 Ball Lightning copying over does 1.6x their old DPS. But after this next nerf coming up, they'll do 0.75x their old DPS if they're constanly shooting. Anyways. Some shenanigans on PTR

[SPOILER=What it's like on the PTR] ![]() Anyways, if they actually tune it correctly, i.e. it's not a net nerf and not pomegranatety to play, here's some thoughts on the future of M6 Kridershot will be very good. If they're actually switching the damage bonuses to center on you, it'll be less important. But it's a huge convenience and significantly strong for a non-Immolation EA build. It feels like Spitfire Turret shoots some weirdly high number of rockets. As I posted earlier, it looked like it might be double dipping from its own attack rate and your casting or something. If they remove or lower the damage bonus on Sentry's spenders, this will be a bigger chunk of damage. Ancient Arcane Barb + Immolation Arrow + Mortal Enemy is a good start to no-Primary. Ball Lightning and Meticulous Bolts is also okay, but not as good at generating with Mortal Enemy. Ancient crafts are fairly easy, took my about 6 tries, and it's probably like 1/10. I just happened to roll a near perfect base damage one though apparently. If they keep the high Sentry damage, Torment VI running, Physical Build will be very good. Razor Disk does this hilarious thing where it casts on the enemy's location regardless of where the Sentry is. You could leave all 5 Sentries at the WP, and go to the next one, as long as you don't enter a fully new area, the Chakrams will fly to the enemy position. Could take a second or two if you're really that far away though. Kinda hard to keep track if your Sentries are still alive too. But you don't need to replace Sentries with this setup, they're really fast and cover a huge area. Every time you attack, nearly instantly, 5 Chakrams will zoom onto an enemy nearby and kill it. But if they do focus the damage you deal more on your own character, it'll still be okay since 5 Chakrams at normal damage is decent, but Arsenal will probably still be best since it covers such a huge area too. Cluster Arrow does the same thing if it has direct line of sight, i.e. there's no walls or obstructions that would normally block a CA. Really weird. I used to get oneshot with Unity at GR33~34 range. Now I can tank a few hits depending on the monsters in GR40, but 41 oneshots me. Something I learned in one GR was Saxtris did about 380k with his melee, while his tornados ticked for like 200k. His summons, like the eels, did 330k. I have 310k HP. It means that in T6 Rifts, the only items that aren't legendary are Gems, Crafting Materials, or Weapon/Armor Rack drops. I did one full T6 rift and got 55 Legendaries. It's interesting to say the least, and at least there's a way to find items you want to test now. I don't get to keep any of my PTR stuff. The queue is too long. They removed the EXP and Legendary buff. I'm gonna sue Blizzard. But seriously. I'll probably never find a ring this good. Ever. Oh well. I'll just keep wearing RoRG/Unity/SoJ/Nat's. Compass Rose coming that good with a Traveler's Pledge sounds pretty sex. One day. Hoping they have the patch out on Christmas week so I can enjoy it after finals. But at the same time, if they're keeping the second iteration of Marauder's, then I'll probably just stop DH and go to Monk. They haven't patched it in yet though, despite it being quite a while since they announced how they were going to destroy it. Maybe they finally realised it was garbage and are reconsidering the nerf to the vast majority of DHs. I've been going through the Barbarian leaderboards and I see that most people are choosing main stat on amulets over Elemental damage. Even when they DON'T have SoJs and only get +Element from their bracers. ..... So, do I just take that Traveler's Pledge and reroll the +Cold for CHC and use that instead? I'm aiming to go physical Whirlwind and currently have +20% Bracers, a +27% Heartslaughter, and a +18% Str/Phys/CHC/CHD amulet towards that goal. Also planning on farming for a RoRG with Socket or CHC/CHD as an initial roll. |
