Original Dragon Nest Thread - ShinkuDragon - 2011-10-14 案山子 Wrote:''WHATS THE SS BUTTON'' i've done at the very least 1200/23 runs, dunno if that's low or high. IHY rusty. Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2011-10-14 Did my first minotaur runs. The place wasn't OMG CRAZY but it was harder for me I think because I'm a low level undergeared mercenary. I have 7k health and I got hit by the end boss guy for 3k =(. My damage also seems to be insanely low on these guys. I don't know if it's because I'm used to playing my archer now (whos damage is crazy) or if they just have higher armor in the minotaur place. Original Dragon Nest Thread - Kaasoljoyyx - 2011-10-14 案山子 Wrote:I didn't need that one key for any farming, I wanted it for a normal Abyss run at Dryspring. Still, the extremely low chance a gold bunny pops out to go get 1 key in 5 minutes compared to hours of grinding for one? And the chance the plate you get is even good. It kind of reminds me of that theory that if something really good happening happens about 1% of the time, but you don't want it to happen that one time, you feel the % chance is like 90% (something like that) DrRusty Wrote:Did my first minotaur runs. Go get some more %HP gear/crests. Also as merc, a few tips - Flying swing greatly reduces damage you take, so you can use it when you feel you won't dodge a attack - Taunting howl will draw aggro to you but will lower %crit chance and %damage of the target - I think it's called envergating howl, but it's when you scream at the target. That acts as dispel + seal from maple, so when mino boss charges up at 2 bars and gets an attack + movement buff, you can dispel it off. Just scream at him when he starts screaming. Mino nest monsters have loads and loads of HP. And whatever you do, you do not want to be hit by that axe attack, it can crit you for as high as 9k. If you're really unlucky, he'll use it on you after that stun stomp. Save your Enerving Roar or whatever it was called for when the boss buffs himself. Especially the buff he uses when he only has like 2 or less bars of health left (in which he roars for like 5 seconds). The skill is able to dispel that buff, and as far as I know, it's the only skill in the game capable of dispelling boss buffs. Party members tend to die very quickly after he uses that buff, because not only does that make his attack power skyrocket, but it also increases his moving and attacking speed. 7k HP is really low for a Mercenary. My merc has 16k HP and 7.5k MP. Try getting level 23/24 +8 enhanced armor or something, hopefully with +6.50% HP or MP potentials. I would guess that the 23 armor are pretty cheap nowadays, like less than 15 gold. The 24 armor will likely cost more, but they are far more likely to have +% HP or MP potentials on them. Or at least they were in Velskud last time I checked. You can also try to get Life-giving/Health enhancement crests, but those tend to be quite costly (at least 100+ gold for a quality version, and you're going to be looking for one that you can actually use at your current level). I really wish I still had my skill reset though. And again: It's happened to me before. It's preventing the incident from occurring again, which is what any intelligent person would do. Also, basically the majority of the skill plates you'll get from Saint's Haven dungeons are in fact good. I wasn't upset it took so long, necessarily, but shocked and disgusted at how terrible my luck was that it took dozens of runs to find a key. I'm fine with soloing, it's what I do, and I don't care about how much time something takes since I always go at my own pace and I have plenty of time. In fact, it was almost becoming some sort of game after a while. ''Okay, for sure this is it. I'll get a key this time! pomegranate NOT AGAIN! *retries*'' Original Dragon Nest Thread - DrRusty - 2011-10-14 anyone unable to log in? Trying to rush my archer to lvl 24 so I can finish on her too I really wish there was dual spec... I want a different set for PvP and PvE without having to make a completely different toon. Original Dragon Nest Thread - raizoo - 2011-10-15 You can be PvE focused with a slight PvP build. :B http://dragonnest.nexon.net/news/news/00D5b/will-to-power MUST GET ACRO TO 32 AND ALSO DO MINO. FFFFF, still 15 'cause everyone's all MINO MINO MINO, Original Dragon Nest Thread - PervyLion - 2011-10-15 Loving the exp boost events they bought out. But for the prizes of being lv 32. What do magnifying glasses do?
Original Dragon Nest Thread - 案山子 - 2011-10-15 PervyLion Wrote: Loving these events as well. All of them. Magnifying Glasses let you Normally you clear a stage and you get a certain amount of chests. You pick one and wait for the time to run out for you to find out what you got along with what you COULD'VE gotten. With Glasses you can remove the shadow off any of the chests to get a peek at what type it is before making your decision. It's mostly useful for Nests. I'd recommend saving the M-Gs for when Cerberus Nest arrives. Original Dragon Nest Thread - ImagineAll - 2011-10-15 I can't tell whether or not I like this game. Granted, I just started and am only level 12, but it has kind of lost its flare for me. Idk, I'll try giving it a try again sometime this weekend. I know it's good to go get keys for saint's haven, but personally i would rather go run astral with a 23- without any keys just once and then get the key from the bunny at the end of the dungeon. Finding a party and clearing the dungeon takes 5-10 minutes. Once you get your key from the bunny, you can go farm in saint's haven. That's just what I would do. If I miss the gold bunny on that 1 time i run, oh well. I'd rather miss the bunny than waste hours looking for a key. Hopefully cerberes nest at the end of october. Original Dragon Nest Thread - 案山子 - 2011-10-15 I'll just leave this here.
