Alloy Wrote:Actually, the poison doesn't kill you. It's that kind of poison that doesn't kill by itself, but still very annoying, since you have to pot twice (at least) after it.

you mean when you are about to die the poison stops?

If you have 24 hp left, it takes 23 (even if it takes 500 normally), and then, nothing until you have more. You don't cure yourself at 1 hp, though, it simply... makes you very weak.

so technically if you get 1\1 while being poisoned you wont die?

also, generally, if you have 1 hp and u get 1\1 (in any boss) do you die?

CKPQ Bossing Strategy - Orit - 2009-03-11

The chances of surviving with 1 HP until the next 1/1 are so low I doubt anybody has had it happen to them.
You have to pot immediately after 1/1, or the next hit/bump will kill you, poison or no poison.

Nope, not dead, but easier to die in that state :p

And after a 1/1, if I remember correctly, you can't die, but your mp still gets to 1. Not sure when you have 1 hp, but I believe you still make it alive, and a 1 damage shows up, only it doesn't kill you.

You don't die, and I have experienced it, when I was cleaning up the right knight statue after killing Ergoth. All those 1/1s never killed me even when I never healed.

No, with 1 HP and 1 MP left, nuke attack will do 1 dmg to you but you don't die. Simply nothing changes.

Thanks for your answers Big Grin

Ok, got a new strategy when everyone died except you, you have 14mins left, one Grandmaster has 5% HP left, and you want that pendant:

- Stand in the right corner
- Use a Gelt Chocolate
- Spam attacks
- Use pots like a madman
- Survive the 8k dmg body touches (Red Nirg's Powerup almost triples touch damage... o.0...)
- Pray you survive
- Loot the pendant with 7 mins on the clock Tongue

Godd@mn, soloing Red Nirg is like soloing 3 Zakum Body's that are attacking you and you have to stand "on" Zakum's body while attacking... lulz... gl ranged people! xD

But I succeeded! Big Grin

You mean RedNirg Right?

And after Pqing twice today without my hero, I realize how great melee classes are at the Bottom </3

Bishops dispel on the power ups is most usefull. Or Dk's (Is it DK?) Powercrash!

And after trying the isolate bottom bosses one by one today, I really rather the Range party up up killing the mage while Melee/Mage parties come down and take all 3 at once.

K I updated the first post, again.

If anyone has any more theories or strategies, please present them.

I don't mean to be bothersome but are you sure this is Rellik's poison type? Just double-checking, sry for any inconveniences Smile

As far as I know and believe, there are more than 1 type of poisoning, one kills while the other doesn't.

Another strategy:

3 parties: ranged, primary melee (strong), secondary melee (lure)

1) When the fight starts, only physical classes kill the black guardians.

2) After black guardians are killed, the group is divided into three.

3) primary melee party rushes Rellik to far left and pummels him at zero range.

4) when Rellik is isolated to far left, the ranged party snipes Morgana.

5) secondary melee party lures/rushes Hsalf and Red Nirg to the right

6) when Morgana is down, ranged party drops down and joins the fight with secondary melee party

7) when Morgana, Hsalf and Red Nirg are down while Rellik is still alive, secondary melee party joins primary melee party (adding HB and Bishop from ranged party if necessary). ranged party stays out of the way of fighting.

8) otherwise, when Morgana and Rellik are down while Hsalf and Red Nirg is still alive, primary melee party joins secondary melee and ranged party.

basic idea is to attack Morgana and Rellik simultaneously using a ranged and a strong melee party, while weaker melee party keeps Hsalf and Red Nirg lured and occupied.

Why not take advantage of Melee's multiple-target skills and take out Red Nirg + Hsalf first instead of Rellik as a single target?
And I'm pretty sure it doesn't take a whole secondary party to pin bosses.

I know Hsalf does 1/1+poison. I have not seen the ninja guy hit me with a 1/1+ poison attack.

Hsalfs 1/1+ poison hits you with 1/1 then about a 1/2 a sec later does 300 poison damage. Its easy to avoid once you notice which attack it is. (Its the attack where it shoots in a strait line real powerfull looking.)

Is it the same shot he's doing in your avatar?

Mhmmmm. Well, hes charging up there.

@MaxHudson: The guy on your avatar is Rellik, not Hsalf. The Ninja guy is Hsalf.

I went with a random party and this exactly how the battle turned out. It was an accident that we did it so well, but we were actually able to take down 3 bosses; Red Nirg and Rellik downed by only 2 attackers.

Complete random party got this far.

CKPQ Bossing Strategy - Kalovale - 2009-03-12

A few things on the 1/1 attack:
- It doesn't kill instantly, there's a split milisecond for you to pot safely before it chops your head.
- It goes in a linear trajectory, avoidable, that is. And it's easy to tell when he's going to release the charge.
