Well, my brother and I got SUPER lucky while I was on vacation back at my parents house in Texas. We monitored G-rank Seregios event rooms and finally found a person hosting USJ: A Colorful Feast. I was able to get 9 special passes and make the Star Knight blademaster set. I have 4 special passes left, and I'm trying to find one last room so I can make the gunner set.

On a different note, I attempted several 140 Teostra quests last night, and out of four total runs, we successfully completed one. That just further reinforced why I don't do most 140 GQs. S
hit is so fucking overpowered it takes every bit of fun out of the game. With 826 defense on my Helios X set, his running attack does over 75% of my maxed out health bar. Go fuck yourself Capcom. That shit is fucking dumb and you know it.

Honed weapons are cooler anyways.

I hope the Capcom curse isn't beginning to leak to MH now.

I like honed weapons, but the best weapons in the game come from beshackled relics, and those only drop from 136+ guild quests. I don't mind 140 GQs being tough, but enough is enough already. When I get pushed over by a monster's big toe and have to use 3 mega potions to make up for that, something is horribly wrong. Not only that, but nothing should be one-shotting me with 830 defense. The guild quest system is a great idea on paper, but it is horribly broken. After doing a full night's worth of 140 GQs, going back to regular G1, G2, and G3 quests seem like nothing. 140 GQ's make G-rank look like low rank. I can actually solo the regular G-rank Apex Seregios with my Vayu Sedition, slicing shots, and normal 2's.

At the end of the day though, the anthem I've been singing since this topic started still rings true. MH4U is definitely a great game, but it is still far inferior to MH3U. There are so many broken elements that make the game very difficult to play. They need to quit f
ucking around and give us voicechat back already. There is no conceivable reason it shouldn't exist. Also, why the fuck does the decoration crafting suck so much? When I'm looking to see if I have already crafted certain jewels, there's no way to tell unless they're de-equipped. If you have a decoration on a set of armor and scroll to the decoration at the smithy, the "Number owned" says 0, which is dumb as shit. There should be a single option to de-equip every decoration you own and put it in your inventory rather than having to comb through pages and pages of equips, trying to remember what piece of armor you put your evasion 1 jewels on. And regardless if they're currently set to a piece of equipment, that "number owned" should show how many you've crafted, period. It shouldn't treat them like they're non-existent just because they're currently on an equip.

I'm still not sure what to think of Monster Hunter X nor Monster Hunter RPG.

MH: Cross looks halfway decent. As for Monster Hunter Online, I absolutely cannot wait for this game. I've wanted something like that for a very long time. The game already has mechanics in place for this to really, really work. Capcom just has to execute it correctly. And since they aren't really known for poor execution, I'm not worried about this game one bit. It's going to be amazing. I'd stake my life on it

But its not coming here though

Yeah unless I missed something, MHO was never announced for outside of China.

Well, it looks like the June DLC wasn't entirely disappointing. We got G-Rank Dah'ren Mohran. We're also getting USJ: A Colorful Feast next month and Gold Rathian in August. Lots to look forward to.

We're getting the Star Knight Armor quest next month in the US? Nice. Where was this confirmed? I hope G-Rank Silver Rathalos isn't too far behind... I REALLY want to finish upgrading my fire Glaive.

We have been getting the episodic quests in the same order Japan got theirs. We've been getting one episode every month, starting with the release, and Star Knight is next on the list, and Gold Rathian is in April. It hasn't been officially confirmed anywhere, but if you look at the episodic quest list, we are getting them in the exact same order they were released in Japan. Unless they completely and totally deviate from the episodic quest list, that's the order.

Looks like our prayers have been answered. This batch of DLC was only legitimate stuff including both metal Raths, G-Dalamadur, and the Star Knight armor.

Apparently, Kiranico's previewed some custom quests

Yep, and less than 48 hours later, someone had cracked the method used to make them, leaked it, and now people are making quests for all DLC Tickets x99, all Relic-only jewels x99, and instant HR999. This is why we can't have nice things.

At least the "official" ones on Kiranico are fun to do.

Even some of the Capcom people were not pleased by this

From what I've seen, most of the community wasn't pleased with it. Most people seemed to be okay with simple things like supersize G.Jaggi, but then someone just HAD to go and ruin it.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate: Reviews and Discussion - Polantaris - 2015-07-08

It's not as bad as the bug in the original MH4.

You could make custom quests that made monsters spawn in the camp of the Forest (GQ area). Since monsters had no programming for that area (and why would they?), they literally would just sit there and do nothing. Free kills.
