Backwards. Her concern was people puppeting the corpses she was leaving behind to impersonate her.

And I'll assume that you were able to confirm it was actually her requesting her account be "nuked", and not someone who hijacked it.

It's fairly improbable that someone would've known how to contact me the way she did to ask for what she asked for, other than her.

More so, even if they did, she would be more than capable of reaching me to tell me it wasn't her who did the original.

She came up to me to say that it wasn't her that made the post, asked me to edit and lock the thread.
She did leave but the "official goodbye" was not written by her.

I also think he's the one that has been harassing me on Tyler's website (Mapler.Me) since he knows my full name (I don't know how he did it, quite creepy), and no one has ever addressed me that way until he did.

It seems like her badge was removed and you cannot access the profile, but the posts are still there.
Like I said, at first I thought she didn't have access to that account anymore and made a new account, but she later confirmed that it wasn't her.

I don't think there was any way for her to lock it there in such a way that the very owners of the forum couldn't use the account or delete it and create another user with the same name.

Being that's it the same forum software we use, yes, she could've.
But it wasn't the admins who were the problem there according to Maryse.

That's funny. I used to be a forum mod for Wonderking NA and had to deal with people advertising Maple Story. Such fond memories. ^_^

(Why advertise it though? The NA version was shut down 1.5 years ago and the JP version filters IP addresses...)

Eventually. But I haven't seen any new news from WK NA. There was an update like 2-3 months ago saying "hey we hear you still like this game and we're gonna revive it," but nothing since. I don't see any purpose in advertising it when there's not even a CBT announcement or anything. I mean, I was excited for the JP re-release and jumped onto the open beta there, but not understanding a character of kanji kinda got in the way of that. XD

Anyway, reaching back towards the topic, I remember when a WK Gamemaster was released, which was quite sudden to us. And he was basically the one us moderators reported to for a while. It was quite a sad day.
