Another thing is these 'Holy Relics of Time' would be, that we go into one. Then there's some decision-thingy, I THINK, and then there is Lapis or 'The Alpha', seemingly in the looks of a boy, and Lazuli, or 'the Beta', seemingly a girl. Both inside a half of a Relic. Or something.
It's complicated.
Anyways, it seems clear that it has something to do with somebody now.

I would hope they're not going to re-write that whole thing about how the Black Mage got sealed just to fit in this class, but perhaps these people have some kind of connection to it otherwise it wouldn't make sense that Freud and Phantom would be involved with the new character. Darn it, maybe this will be clearer when the preview is up.

Whoops. There was a post on the Maple Story tag about this character meeting Phantom and Freud in their tutorial and this same person mentioned discussion of a new class ID showing up on Insoya about a week and a half before we got this extraction, I decided not to post about it here since it was only a rumour at that point.

If you translate the quests you'll notice that he meets phantom, Mir, evan, Freud, a guy called Milo and that Maple world is the Mirror world of another. Also that this job fight/fought against shadow monsters in the real(shadow?) world but he was wondering about the real reason of why the Shadow templars existed in the first place. Also that he is looking for the power of time to awaken someone (Rhinne (?) or the new Son of god that is also introduced in those new quest). I think the he works for the real gods and his job is to control/eliminate the Black mage and also restore the powers of someone related to the Holy/light/time. Also he is after the Blue Jewel (Skya?) and that's why he is chasing phantom.
Wild guess: I think this job is related to Chromile (Mihile's father) because all his missions and quest are somewhat related to Light/Holy and god (Also time Tears) . But we could say that this is my mind trying to make mihile worth something lol.

That is very interesting story-wise, but the idea of Mihile's dad being his own class is even worse than Mihile alone since we know his fate already. As usual, this conflict between want and do not want leaves me in despair!

I'm not saying that it's mihile's father but someone related to him, maybe a friend or someone from the same institution.

On the other hand, if this person was somehow related to Cromile one would have expected him to turn up at some point as an NPC but looking through it again this would be impossible since Cromile was certainly* not around when Phantom had Skaia and he wasn't an ice block yet. And about this other world, might that be related to that odd world where Balrog is good and Mushmom is evil? :f6:

Oh, I didn't know that it had been planned to be a Masteria expansion. This makes it seem possible that Versal might be involved then considering how there's now a KMS version of Crimsonwood Keep too.

Ah, I see. Any luck on finding out who 라르헨을 is? I belive he might be from Henesys, and accedently used the power of the Time Tears to summon a monster in one of the quests.
Anyways, I belive he looks for a Holy Relic. Maybe he belives that it's Skya and hunts Phantom because of that? Because in the quest, you first split the Holy Relic, and then go inside it. And meet Lapis and Lazuli. (Sweet jesus, them names...) They might be new 'bosses', as the character looks for 라르헨을 and wants to bring him/her back to the Beta. In one of the quests, Lazuli, a girl, is also described as 'The Beta', while Lapis is 'The Alpha'. You also gotta cheer up Beta at one point.
I belive the 'Son of God' and that you have to 'prove that one's a Son of God' may hint about how a character might be Rhinne's child, and needs to prove that somehow in a Test. That test is, earlier mentioned, going inside the Holy Relic.
I'm more confused about the mirror world. By it, it seems like going from Leafre to Afrien and back to Horntail's cave is a quick travel. Also, Mirror World where we can get Horntail asleep with a Fairy Music Box? And Hanflings and Dragons Co-Exist?

We have to remember that Chromile might not have been alive back then. Yet again, how many years in the past than the current events does Mihile's Timeline stay in again? Roughly 5? Whatever. It can't be so far in the past that Chromile could've met the Heroes. So we could rule him out.
HM. Now, everybody think. Who else could've met and known Heroes like Phantom and Freud?

Just pointing this out, pretty sure it's "라르헨", if I remember correctly, the last character block, "을", is an object marker, much like the "を" in Japanese, and not actually part of the name.

Despite my criticism of the new Battle Mage, I agree with this and it might be that Battle Mages got revamped this extensively before the big reveal simply because something big's happening with the Resistance that would necessitate it.

we can rule out mihile, from the story, we know mihiles mother died in order to protect her son. So this son of god can't be mihile as we know very much that the goddess of time is alive. And when i keep hearing about holy items, i keep thinking of paladins, because they are technically servants of "god". Im also thinking something along the lines of Luminous story line, because he was a member of a society that protected the light? But could this be attributed to holyness idk, but i doesnt mention luminous anywhere so yeah <_<.
Someone did mention that he might work for the real gods, and not the transcendals? So maybe this guy is connected to the real god of time? And maybe we now have another possibly transcendent that is trying to awake? Maybe thats the search for "son of god"
Versal popped in my head heavily cause of mirror world and shadow creatures, but i dont know, i mean kms cwk is different and keeping the whole story? I mean they even have a statue of cristopher crimsoonwood, but i doubt its him. Especially since in the kms version he would have to be a demon?
