Kaisers boster subtracts 2 from weapon speed and depending on how much your dragon guage is filled, its -0 up to -2 so if the final one worked, you could technically use a Normal(6) and hit the Faster(2) cap I would think. Thanks, does the gauge subracting weapon speed work in final form? Does that account for setup time of Wing beats and the dragon summons? It depends on how good you're retiming your Wing Beats. The only other thing you do is Giga Slasher, summon, and buff. tacobff Wrote:Thanks, does the gauge subracting weapon speed work in final form? No. Final Form has -2 weapon speed on it to replace the weapon speed bonus from your gauge. Summarized %/s List - ignoreme - 2013-01-31 You said m/s means million damage per second. So I sorted the list according to m/s and the list is almost completely overturned, with the top 5 being #3, 13, 39, 33, 9 as %/s respectively. Higher m/s means higher dps right? So how is it that the higher %/s classes are not the one with the higher dps? Or is it because each class, attack range and skill does not correspond equally to their %? If that's the case, doesn't that makes %/s pointless? Enlighten me, thanks. On another note, I think mercedes hit/s is 28 (without her summon). While interesting, it doesn't apply to the vast majority of the population. The %/s allows you to compare at more normal levels of funding. It answers the question, "Which class would do the most DPS with the same damage range?" (For example, you have a Mercedes and a Marksman, both with 100k range. Who does more damage per second?) If it was Ishtar only and ignoring time to cast buffs that would be true. Summarized %/s List - tacobff - 2013-02-01 Whats the difference in delay for blade burst with combo keys and command keys? I think its fast enough that combo keys overcome the 33% detriment in dps. Is dragon barrage really the best skill for mobbing? The delay between attacks seems incredibly long. Summarized %/s List - JoeTang - 2013-02-01 First off, you're in the wrong thread. tacobff Wrote:Whats the difference in delay for blade burst with combo keys and command keys? There isn't one. tacobff Wrote:I think its fast enough that combo keys overcome the 33% detriment in dps.I don't know where you come up with this number. If you're talking about how you can cancel the explosion of Blade Burst in GMS, I am not sure how this works exactly, and it is likely a bug. It does maybe about 1.002x more %/s and less max damage/second. tacobff Wrote:Is dragon barrage really the best skill for mobbing? The delay between attacks seems incredibly long. No, Dragon Barrage is the only mobbing skill you can use when Transformed other than Dragon Slash. If this is different in GMS, let me know. Thank you for bringing this to my attention though, my Warrior thread's description has it incorrectly listed as the primary multitarget attack when it should be Sword Strike/Blade Burst when untransfigured. I should be done playtesting Striker tonight, and then I'll update the thread for it and the fix to Cannon Shooter's Buckshot. Summarized %/s List - tacobff - 2013-02-02 JoeTang Wrote:First off, you're in the wrong thread. Sorry I meant 33% less damage as in hotkeys vs. command keys. Hotkeys has explosion damage and command keys doesn't, but command keys is much faster. Command vs. hotkeys is 1800% vs. 1200% per cast so a 33% decrease in damage. I was wondering if the speed of command keys is more than 50% faster than hotkeys. So dragon barrage > dragon slash transformed even with the delay then? Alright thanks. Summarized %/s List - Zuruzuka - 2013-02-06 I never knew Luminous was dead last, thought they were way higher than last. Summarized %/s List - hadriel - 2013-02-06 To be fair, that's GMS Luminous (although I can't exactly immediately see how Joe arrived at that number...). I am also rather surprised at the disgustingly low % from Equilibrium's contribution, because I thought that doing 7 * 2 attacks of 333% at 810ms delay (raw) is pretty damn high. Also considering the fact that the buffs are rather unstable... like Black Blessing and Lunar Tide... Joe hasn't done Equilibrium double-switching, but AFAIK it doesn't give a super-massive jump in overall DPS per 180s cycle (but it still boosts dps by a fair bit). Take these numbers with a pinch of salt. Hadriel Summarized %/s List - Zakaerys - 2013-02-06 So on Bosses with Elemental and Physical resistance such as Empress, classes such as Evan, Striker, and Archmages have the %/s damage output listed, whereas other classes would be halved, because of their elemental reset, correct? Because I can't see this table taking that into account. Summarized %/s List - Grey - 2013-02-06 Strikers are still affected by Physical Resistance. Summarized %/s List - DustinxD - 2013-02-06 I found out some interesting things about Kaisers through some tests I've made. First off, when reaching "Stage 2" of your Morph Gauge, the effect of the "Stage 2" Morph replaces the "Stage 1" Morph; they don't stack together. I noticed attack speed does not increase after changing to "Stage 2" and the Stance rate isn't 100% as it should be if the 2 Morph stages were added together; Kaisers in reality have an 80% stance rate untransfigured during "Stage 2". I've noticed some people haven't noticed, apparently. :f6: Secondly, Kaisers can bypass the fast (2) attack speed cap, but there seems to be a hard attack speed cap of fast (0). I'm not sure if this is intended or not but it's definitely very real. For example, Kaisers Blaze Up has a 2 attack speed boost while the Morph gauge adds 1 attack speed; bringing this to fast (3). Now, if you add decent SI (1 attack speed) to the mix that brings it to fast (2); yes, I did check the skills individually to see if they worked or not, they all did; including glitched Final Form's attack speed and Majesty. Further explaining this, using Kaisers Majesty Hyper grants a 1 attack speed boost; but even using a fast (2) attack speed there is a noticeable speed increase, not just with the animation itself but on how much faster it hits. Regarding the fast (0) hard cap, during the times where Majesty, Terms from AB and Final Form could be glitched from Aswan, I noticed I could attack even faster than with just Majesty alone. Summing it up, I'd technically would have a fast (-1 apparently) attack speed with Blaze Up (2 attack speed), Decent SI (1 attack speed), Morph (1 attack speed), Majesty (1 attack speed) and glitched Final Form (2 attack speed). I used that combination without Majesty then used Majesty afterwards; the attack speeds were exactly the same. I did fill up my Morph gauge after glitching Final Form to test this, the attack speed and damage boost from Final Form remained after the transformation effect disappeared. I can't say I'm 100% sure it affects transfigured Kaisers though but I have a feeling it does; before Blaze Up was glitched with Final Form (currently the Blaze Up attack speed does not work while transfigured but the attack speed from Final Form itself does, decent SI doesn't work with Final Form on either) Blaze Up could push our attack speed to fast (2) which was incredibly fast and I knew decent SI worked with Final Form on; however I didn't do any tests before it wound up glitched so I can't say for sure for transfigured Kaisers. Currently transfigured Kaisers are sitting at fast (4) due to the glitch. Untransfigured Kaisers can definitely break the attack speed cap though. I have no idea if this applies to KMS and the other versions but it does apply to GMS. I can provide video proof later on if it's needed; heading to sleep for now. Their 1st job skill Element: Lightning makes all their attacks Lightning element. I don't know why they bothered giving them a skill that removes this when they could just as easily not have had the Lightning element in the first place, but that's why it exists. |
