[1.2.314] Battlemage Job - Takebacker - 2010-05-27 The exp multiplier at level 70 is 30x. Exp rates change based on your level in increasing and then decreasing fashions. It's nice that he pointed out how the system actually works, but that's the bottom line. So no, you won't be gaining 50% in 5 minutes there in GMS. OT: Class still looks like it sucks. Increased concentration and susceptibility to carpal tunnel makes me want to play my Aran that much more. Also, ew @ Final Attack. @Americans playing this KMST account: are you experiencing a lot of lag due to server distance? Because FA looks hella gross in that the actual hit occurs oddly during the casting animation, to the point where (as can be seen in KaidaTan's video) it misses occasionally. Oh, and yeah, Battlemages definitely have some of the best buffs in the game, but if you can't stack Auras they're honestly not as useful considering skills that already exist such as Combo Barrier. Pot and pick up lag? Holy mother of god yes. FA seems gross, but it's not bad at all in 3rd, and it'll get better at 4th i guess. I recorded some footage at DGP with FA and it's pretty sweet. Was the EXP better when you used Dark Aura or Yellow Aura? I hope they reduce the cooldown on some of their skills though. Dark Lightning and Dark Genesis' cooldowns make them rather useless. 5 seconds for Dark Lightning and 20 seconds for Dark Genesis seem more reasonable to me. Also, can you use other skills while in Cyclone? Otherwise it's also quite useless since you can only use it for 10 seconds, with a 60 second cooldown. I use blue aura mostly because the pot cost is tremendous, and pot lag is unforgiving. As soon as i get to 4th job i'll be testing the skills for how they work. To start off, you cast Revive. The buff icon appears on the top right corner of the screen but nothing is summoned. When you kill monsters with the buff on, you have a probability to summon a Reaper. This Reaper will roam the platform it was summoned on until the buff runs out, attacking monsters with a chance of killing them instantly (provided it's not a boss). An infinite number of Reapers can be summoned as long as the buff remains active. Imagine using it at Entrance to Spooky World. The darn place will be flooded with reapers! Dark Genesis only does up to 27kish each hit. Those look like Blue Kents in the SS though. Besides, Dark Genesis has 770 base damage at level 1 so it's doing as much damage as one would expect.
