500 HP is a ton of washes for a ranged class. You should know that. Not to mention that this will stack with HB.

It helps all classes in a great way. (at least the ones that aren't already at 30k base HP.

I realize that but he said this will make pb possible without hp washing... And that is not the case..

nope it doesn't come up as a link for me for some reason o-o

like uhm i was under the impression the earrings start at 0% and go up to 100% then they boom/can't be used anymore. You repair them to bring them back to 0%? correct if wrong still sorta confused as to all the details on these earrings.. And you were wrong but we are agreeing to not get into that argument but you decided to go to immature name calling instead for some reason x-x.

Do. Fricking. Want. It'd solve the need of fixing the defense formula, because you can get a solid damage reduction for wearing certain equipment. It'd be nice if that'd exist on level 130/140/150 equipment, making those worth making/wearing.

I'm confused on this. Making items that reduce damage by a % doesn't fix the defense formula. It replaces it.

We don't really need %-reduction in the lower levels. Think of %-reduction as a reward for those that really put a lot of time into their characters and also the way ranged players survive the tougher enemies/bosses out there. From what I remember, ranged suffer from being 2 shotted only after hitting ~early 4th job. Suffer a few more levels, and you gain access to equipment that will make you take 3 hits to die instead. It'll also make ranged be able to survive hits unwashed like they did back in 3rd job.

Wouldn't fix the stat but it would perhaps fix the problem depending on how much % was added.

The stat needing to be fixed is the problem though, lol.

I was thinking this too, but there are still other benefits to HP washing. At least for me there is.

Yeah agreed they do have to re-work their defence issues.. And yeah with HP wash theres no need for defence.. tank hits and you're all good Confused

Well first of all, an equip that doubles your defense would be ridiculous in Nexon's mind.

Second, just doubling defense doesn't fix anything. If you have 700 def you're not really going to be taking that much more damage than if you had 1400 because defense by itself doesn't reduce damage by enough.

I'm not sure how defense works, but imagine defense makes you get hurt with 1 less hit point per defense. If you double that up, it's like having your defense gear turned to hp gear. Only stacking with pots.

Of course, I have no idea, just thinking an aproximate.
